  1. I always go back to: not looking inside the cup bores for debris or spider webs (cracks), soot etc:.. then I question proper cleaning procedures, which is tough enough as it is, before cutting out steps.. the bores need to be wiped out and blown out and checked thouroughly. You need to make sure that no bristles from the 3-M needle pad have gotten loose inside the fuel galleries. The dealerships make it a game to beat SRT.. I always said... just fix it right, forget SRT.. I made many mistakes in my early days, and I worked hard to not make those mistakes again.. Attention to detail is crucial.. To this day, when I work on anything, I do the best I can to be accurate in my repairs. Yes I have had issues, and make a mistake here and there.. But these injector cup issues should be routine repairs by now, without error... Hell. I dont know ... I welcome opinions.. time for bed.. Jojo
  2. Bob,,, Does the air start still work? I like it.. It's plenty.... Hell it hasnt been crushed and turned into Kia's...
  3. Onyx,,,, You are SO FULL OF $HIT !!! Luv u Bro...
  4. how about a better pic. of the DM??? BOB !!!!
  5. That will work too Bob.. as long as you have 2,, 110v+ poles going to the breaker..
  6. Bingo!!! I bet it back feeds a double breaker.. Take the inner cover off and look.. neutral and ground may be together on the ground buss, and red and black should be feeding the breaker.
  7. Predator... 420cc engine.. it has electric start, but it starts on 1 or 2 pulls, so no biggie...
  8. 🍻
  9. Your welcome... The generator is around $800.00 here, I have a short 10g 4wire harness with twist lock 4 pin plug ends.. It's easy.. I just hook Genny to the house that way.. By the way,, the small covered box on the top left corner of my panel is the input for Genny.. Good luck Bob... jojo
  10. P.A. is an important State from the very begging.. Just need to turn it back to RED.... Purple aint gonna cut it..
  11. Bob, We lost power last week due to a wire fire on our lines.. here is my house on Generator, and there is a picture of a plug that My electrician installed for me. $250.00 parts and labor for it.. Yes, I do have to start my Genny, and turn the main breaker off, and turn on Jojo power by flipping a double 30 breaker,, but as you can see it works..
  12. I have an 1100 sq" house.. I have 2 fridges, elec. stove. 900w microwave, 2 T.V.'s on at all times, 110v well pump, 2 security systems, and 7 pairs of LED spot lights around my house and buildings. My Cheapass 7500 watt Harbor Freight (Steady running power) not Surge power, generator works great. I have a small Natural gas heater that is self contained, so I can shut my gas pack off to ease the load on Genny.. I believe you have a pellet stove for heat, so that helps.. Jojo
  13. Welcome to the dog house.. I did a Suspension up-grade on a Superliner last summer, and Mack couldnt help me much, so I sent the springs and the new pins to a machine shop, and they made, and pressed new bushings. If you go that route, ask if they can cut grease galleries inside the bushing.. If not, you can use a cutoff wheel and make 2 short shallow grooves in the pins to get the grease to spread.. Jojo
  14. Ok Onyx,, Yeah I just saw the latest on the guy that killed those college kids.. Guy's,,,, is there something we need to know about 'The Keystone State' ???
  15. Oh... Sorry,,, I'm slow.. Yeah He is a D-Bag.. Who's the murderer?
  16. OK,,, I'll bite..... Mark , who is the Idiot? Is it Fetterman?
  17. Yeah, I can see using a 'Forkenife' for Deep dish Pizza.. Dammit !!! Now I want big piece of some Cicilian Pie..... Extra sauce.. :)
  18. Folded Pizza slices.... Just curious, what other way is there to eat a 'Slice of Pie' ??
  19. That is a heck of a deal.. those buckets alone are valuable, since the nut-serts always break from rust... I bet they sell quickly.. Good luck, Jojo
  20. Thanks Buddy... I try to respect the newer stuff.. I feel like some of the repair procedures are good for strengthening the brains of mechanics, I just wish it wasnt "Death By a Thousand Cut's" for the owners of these trucks.. They have enough to do to make a good living without the added Emissions crap, and poor parts qualiity.. I am sticking to what I know.. Some day, I hope to be one of those 'Old Timers' that is hard to find, who knows how to fix your Grandpa's Classic/Antique, RD/CL/CH/DM/CX.. and so on... that he left you in his 'will'... Kind'a like some of the guys that post here about a family owned truck that need's some love.. Am I making any sense?? Jojo
  21. FJH, on 12/20, you posted your concern.. It sucks that you were right... Nothing personal .. Too Bad I dont have the 'Berries' to buy all the tools for cups and injectors, and offer a service... Seems to me that every other MP posting is cups and injectors.. Anyway, Happy New Year !!!
  22. Here is the only REPTO book I have.. It is for E-7's, but I wonder if it has info for you.. Jojo
  23. Unfortunately, I have No practical knowledge of REPTO's.. I have seen them and made a few repairs many years ago, But I have forgotten all of it.. I'm just glad that I have a Mack svc. manual on REPTO's,, in the case I have to do a repair, or post the info here.. P.M. me if you need me to send a picture of the book and its pages.. Jojo
