  1. is there a lot of water in the tanks, that is taking up room for air? and to the best of my memory a typical brake application uses 15-20 PSI. so 4 applications will be 60-80 PSI of usage.. are all of the rear brake chamber's 30's? (30 cubic inches) ... jojo
  2. part number 10500 Sealco... Air is supplied through another port, that valve screws to the tank is is fed directly, there is a brass filter screen inside the supply port.. many trailers have this valve... jojo
  3. Paul, For some reason I am not able to send pictures to my Email from my phone. I have a picture of a chart that may help you, but my normal way of sending pictures is not working.. Hopefully, when you clean the paint off the front of the carrier housing, you will see the series and ratio.. i expect it to be 112/113 series.. I'm trying, Jojo
  4. Sweet looking rig, Is it in Maine? I see you are in So. Maine.. I graduated from Gray New Glouscter High school in '87.. jojo
  5. I believe back then, 1980, they still stamped the info on the front just below the input housing, on the smooth curved part of the main housing..
  6. About a 1:400 ratio...
  7. How about putting Stanadyne in the fuel filters and the tanks, and running it hard? Jojo
  8. Oh hell. Are there wheels on the landing gear, so it can roll away when you try to hook it? 😅
  9. I wish I could leave N.C. it's purple, turning blue, and run by a bunch with their hands out for gov. $.. I can't believe that a Southern State went soft... Gimmie, gimmie, gimmie... and everything here is about racism now.... and people like me pay into the General Fund to support the Race Baiters ... Sometimes I miss living in Maine, but the taxes and low wages and Liberals, is why I left... Maybe Arkansas is the place to go????
  10. Hello Paul,. I may have info. Are the rears 200 series or 112/113 Carriers? I can check my books tomorrow, and hope to help you.. what year-ish are they? Jojo
  11. ok,,, for some reason i cant get the picture loaded. PM me your cell # and I will text the diagram to you.... jojo
  12. I have never converted one, i guess you could install a gladhand, and plumb it to a tank that you will install, there are brake valves that screw right into the center port on a generic air tank, that you can run park brake release lines from to maxi's that you will install in place of the single cans. an R-12 valve in conjunction with a QR-1 valve is also an option, it can be mounted on the frame rail or cross member, and do the same job.. I have diagram's.. I will try to post one, but I may not have enough MB's to do it.. give me a few minutes... jojo
  13. are you putting trailer lines on a straight truck?? ie: dump truck.... jojo
  14. new oil pump and rod and main bearings....
  15. it is good of you to offer some help, but that post is 7 years old.. Welcome to the Dog Pound.... jojo
  16. GA Dave,, it's what I believe is going to be true.... I took a job with My City, in wastewater management... All new to me.. 4 days a week, part time... its a $750/wk gross paycheck, but I don't have to deal with the Biden.I.R.S.... I will do what I can to survive, because I am not a mexican or a negro... Like I have said many time's.... I AM one of the little guy's that will be destroyed, under the Biden Klan.. jojo
  17. The cash give'away's is one of the reason's I ended my business, along with crazy high cost's for parts and supplie's, and I am also concerned about the 87,000 agents that will make sure I dotted my ''I's'' and crossed all of my 'T's".. Which I do... but I'm sure I missed something... as a $60,000/ year GROSS earner.... so, I may have to pay a fine to purchase baby formula for an illegal...... Jojo
  18. I would love to have a 1/4 of youre knowledge... jojo
  19. sounds to me Glenn, you did some Mechanic work.... just saying... now a day's,, you have to have a degree in this crap, instead of just going in and fixing it... jojo
  20. "F" Nailed it!!! I worked on these MackVo turds for about 5 years, after doing all that i did on E-Tech's and E-7's.... and a little bit on E-6's,, (REAL MACK engines for that era) ... Yes, You have to be "Spot-on" repairing those engine's,(Volvo's) which requires a high level of inteligence, however, we are driving trucks to haul frieght, not going into outer space....... good luck to you, and i'm sorry that you have to pay the Swede's, for this repair.... jojo
  21. A good diagnosis, is always a good thing. whether it's our trucks or our bodies... take it to the Mack Doctor.. replace the clutch at that time too, You came to the right place for advice... Jojo
  22. you will need to remove the dog house behind the cup holders, to do that you have to remove all of the plaastic panels around the pedals, and the right kick panel and the lower steering column cover. its not hard, just a puzzle. all the panels over lap so there is an order to it, you will see 2 black steel brackets behind the center panel, one on each side. they come out too, then you can remove the sound deadener, this will expose the doghouse cover, it is sourounded by a dozen 6mm bolts, I have a 1/4 drive air ratchet that fits great, 10mm socket.. then you will be able to look down the back side after the valve cover is off.. it may take you 2 hours to get to that point, since you havent done one before.. good luck sir... jojo
  23. Can you hook a scanner to it to see what codes it has? You say the buzzer is goin off all the time? Is oil pressure above 10 PSI? I wouldn't throw parts at it before looking for a faulty sensor, or bad wires,. When you turn the key on do all the warning lights do a self check?
  24. I guess,. What I'm saying is that certain turbos were used on diff HP engines, but I can't tell you off the top of my head. I know that in my E-7 books there are specs for each HP rating,. And it shows turbo models.. I'm sorry Bob, if I dont have a good answer. However, you can PM me with some specifics and I can look in my books to find the answer.. otherwise I don't know how to tell the HP rating, without a tag.. Jojo
