My wife just chimed in.. She said when she has seen drivers wheel hopping, it was usually because they were trying to go to fast... She drove dump trucks for 13 years, from '87 -2000, before going over the road, anyway..... I think i'm just bragging on my wife at this point.... jojo

I was wondering, after reading all of the posts on this issue.. Lots of good ideas, but what if he lowered his tire pressure from 120 to 95 PSI?? mabey the hard tires spin too easy?? Just a thought..

Yeah, I had one of those thin cut off wheels split on me too.. It went between my left fingers and chopped my thumb open, cut 2 other fingers, ricochet off the floor and stab me in the back of my thigh... my hand was pouring blood and leg had blood running down to the floor. It was a mess, But NO WHERE near as bad as LTK's.. Thanks for the cool pic. OD... jojo

There is more to this one.. the speedo system on a '93 is simple compared to V-Mac 3... My guess is a poor connection, if the sensor is not out of adjustment..

I don't recall a v-mac 1+2 to derarate.. for a speedo, just messed up operation.. the speedo head has dip switches...

was the sender installed correctly? all the way in, til it touches, then 1 full turn out and lock it down?? yes a loose yoke will cause this issue as well.. have you looked at the plug on the back of the speedo to see if it hasnt vibrated loose? not common, but possible..

are you able to reach in by hand and move the box rubbers at the ends of the springs? if so, they are worn out. also look and see if the 'twinkies' are in the boxes at the sides of the spring ends..

do you engage the power divider before you get on the sand, or after wheel hop starts?
