Yep, however, i dont recall seeing an EGR on a 12.7.. (of course I aint seen them all) I have also replaced intake gaskets, and C.A.C.'s, and on occasion, a turbo base gasket.. I like the 12.7.. I put it right up there with the E-7 Mechanical.. jojo

It can work, but it is not as flexible, so directing it around corners or bending may be a small challenge.. I doubt it is passing through a narrow area where the larger diameter is a concern.. jojo

yes its an oil line.. #4 braided line and some buildable fittings, and you can make the hose yourself, and repair it if something damages it in the future.. but you can also take it to a hose shop and get one made. I recommend braided line either way.. jojo

One common repair I have made on 12.7 series 60, was the air compressor supply hose that comes from the intake manifold to the air compressor intake..

I believe the tap we use was 8mm x1.25.... however, 5/16" will work and you get threaded rod and some nuts and washers at any hardware store, and make a puller. It would be good to make a puller that allows you to see the cup move upward.. maybe use a piece of pipe that fits over the hole..

I still havent heard if he is using a 'tap' to cut threads in the cup, or using the knurled tool that grabs the inside of the upper area of the cup.. Tapping threads should do the trick... then use a puller..

So how do we side track the 'Side track' thread?? Hmmm..

does the tool, grab the inside off the cup with knurled jaws that are opened up using a jack screw?

In the olden days, we used to tap threads into the cup where the injector tip fits in, and use a puller with the correct threaded end on it.. We put grease on the tap to collect the millings, and keep them from falling into the cylinder.. This was before the knurled puller was around. Of course that was for the copper cups, but I bet you could do it with the cups you have.. There should be a few more posts on this coming soon.. Jojo

Hi guy's.. . I reacted quickly to a text message saying my debit is locked out. I imediatley called the number. The computer introduced itself as the Wells Fargo Fraud dept. I answered all the questions, and at the end, there was no Wells Fargo 'Outroduction' . The phone call just went dead... So I logged in to my account and moved all of my money out of that acct. into an acct, that is not linked.. Then I called Wells Fargo Cust. svc. line.. and sure enough, what I did was not conducted by an Official Wells Fargo dept. Here a 2 pic's. of what is on my phone.. I'm posting this to provide info. and hopefully stop someone from making my mistake.. Jojo
