  1. seems to me you are doing some Kick A$$ Sh!t... go for it.. jojo
  2. It depends on where the air compressor intake pipe is hooked up. Like on your truck for example,, is the intake hose attached to the elbow coming off the air cleaner housing?
  3. I Hope I can hang on.. As it is my workload is starting to dwindle. I am only buying enough fuel to get me to and from the job site. I had to stop hiring a helper, as well. last week I had to buy a socket, nothing special.. 2 1/2" 6 point 3/4 dr. I get them from NAPA, for around $40 bucks. I have many of them.. This time, when I went to pick it up,, $72.00.... Brake cleaner was on sale, $3.50/can ... I was paying $2.00 back in February.. In my travels on Thursday, I drove passed some of my customer locations, and I see 2 trucks 'Parked' the grass around them is a foot high.. Too bad... Diesel, still around $5.59 +/- .10c.. jojo
  4. I was watching 'NewsMax' the other day,,, So if you are on the government assistance program's, like W.I.C. for example.. You WILL have baby formula, and of course, the illegals coming across the southern border..They get it for free as well.... But families, that work to pay for the slackers, have to hunt it and are only allowed one can.. This is a form of Ethnic Cleansing, without actually Killing, Millions of people.. Just sayin.. jojo
  5. yes I do, but you need special tools.. check out freedom racing.com/ tillman tool.com/ monaco tool.com//// The tools are U.S. ish made, but do a good job.. I have neary $10,000.00 worth... jojo
  6. Thanks, I have posted on this, but wasnt sure after i re-read the thread. I guess I should have asked if it is a 4 valve? no biggie, i just wanted to be sure of which book to open to get the specs.. jojo
  7. Just to refresh my mind,, E-6 4 valve was from 1984-1989, right?? thanks, jojo
  8. still $5.59 +/- .10c here.. its holding... BFD... jojo
  9. I guess a compression test may be in order, or can you keep running because it's a minor issue,,, sorry bud,,, one of us needs to be there with you to see whats up... 👍 jojo
  10. Damn... Now I wish I had a time machine... Jojo
  11. How much smoke are you talking about? There can be a few reasons, does the over board breather puff heavily? if so, chances of worn piston rings is likely the cause. is the air compressor, blowing oil back into the air intake duct. I believe the intake hose attaches to the intake duct after the air cleaner.. Heck, weak valve seal can cause this.. See what I mean? Keep posting, there are a lot of smart guys here to help you... jojo
  12. Sorry, I'm hijacking this thread,, I used to eat at a little place passed P&G just over a bridge I beleive, on the left, we would bobtail to it.. It was a cool place nestled in the woods, next to a rotten cabbage smelling plant... jojo
  13. If I remember correctly, when i went to the pumpkin patch, just after this store, (on the left), i took a left, and it was down hill for a bit then a left into pumpkin patch, the pumpkin patch was just a big crappy dirt lot with an office trailer, and a handful of old green and yellow, Builders Transport trucks settin around.. P&G was just a bit further passed the 'patch'.. and I beleive there was a lot of open land back then, not many homes.. Diesel is still $5.49-$5.69 here.. jojo
  14. Pump and Pantry sounds right.. It's been 24 years ago, so I'm a bit rusty, jojo
  15. I would like to think the pressure relief valve will do its job.. just sayin.. jojo
  16. That's great !! do you know what adjustments were made? Just in case someone needs the info... Jojo
  17. Is your truck old enough to pour your next oil change in the tanks.. ?
  18. when you pulled out of the yard there and went up the hill passed the Pumpkin Patch, (Schnieder) there was a store there top of the hill.... (Gosh) I hope I remember correctly... I would always get there tuna sandwhich, and drinks..... When I worked out of that terminal, I lived in Old Orchard Beach M.E. My longest commute to work.... EVER.... jojo
  19. I do realize it, just blows my mind how "In -your- face" it really is.. They are so corrupt, that I wont even listen to their side of the issue's because I know it's rigged.. anyway.. Im off to do a road call.. Jojo
  20. Well, ive been watching a live feed of our 'polls' tonight.. and local news is on the tube... guess what..... our 'Blue' neighboring county, (Mecklenburg),, Charlotte N.C. .. is reporting an issue with there voting machines..... and votes are not being recorded correctly... You don't say... I'm only reporting, When the truth comes out in 15 months, I will recap the story... .. well ... really, I will just learn about the issue at hand.. How's the poll's in youre area?? jojo
  21. I know... I want to complain, but..... I see worse elsewhere... jojo
  22. Diesel is still $5.49-$5.69, here today.. Gas, $4.39 ish......
  23. so ... you stopped the oil leak? I assume you were able to use the truck to see if you fixed it? jojo
  24. Im not sure I am following you, sorry. The mph sensor is the VSS.. The wires have the numbers printed on them, you can peel back the loom and read the code, it tells you which module it goes too, the plug in the module, and the wire terminal number.. Did you see that on the wire or just the schematic? also, are you checking the power at the sensor plug? ...... if you unplug the bulkhead connector and the speed sensor, did you ohm both wires individually, to see if there is resistance? there should be about, .02 ohms resistance on a good closed line.. it would be good to have a helper on this due to the distance of the wires. with the plugs unplugged, did you ohm the 2 wires together to see if they are shorted? if there is continuity, then you have an issue in that harness.. which would explain the voltage drop you stated. sorry I cant be more help on this, I really need to be there, I dont know how many different segments there on these wires.. jojo
  25. just reach up and pull the plug on the inside of the valve cover.. torque is only around 20 lbft for the cover bolts
