  1. Hmmmm, $5000.00?? dont know, just stirring the pot... jojo
  2. The synchro wont cause the vibration, however, if it related to the vibration, the issue is bigger than the synchro... the synchro just rides along on the rear main shaft. the sliding clutch selects lo-hi, hi-lo as you use the selector on the shift knob.. Dont let any of them tell about synchronizing 'gear shifts' there are no synchros in the main box... YOU ARE the synchronizer!!!! when you shift... jojo
  3. yep, just saw it too.. you know, recently I have applied to my "County and City" for maintenance jobs.. the package is good,, yes it s a pay cut but the health care and 401k looked good,, I have had 2 interviews... Crickets...... I am not a dumbass, but,,, really??? what s the issue?? I know the answer, but I'm asking you guys.. Sorry... I havent figured out how to tie this to our KING, to be in line with this thread.. jojo
  4. just curious??? why do they want to replace the synchro in the tranny? did you see the damage in the front rear end? anyway,, keep your eyes on the damage, ears wide open, and your wallet tightly held in your hand.. jojo
  5. Yep, TJC, is it 80,000 more IRS agents are to be hired, to make sure I dont write off the oil change and tune up in my wifes pick up truck, as a business expense..? jojo

  9. It happens,,, and then 3- 24 months later,,,, You did your part.. always good to see you post.. jojo
  10. ok, well its easy, the screws in the front of the panel come out, the 2' T-27/25 screws come out,, the screws on the side of the front. cover come out.. drop the front cover down an inch and pull it up out of the way. Dont forget to "recover" the freon while doing all this.. take hose clamp pliers or 2 small needle nose vise grips, and pinch the 2 heater hoses and remove them from the core nipples... yes,,,, I said Nipples... Good luck removing the expansion valve without breaking it, but you did say you were replacing everything... Whizz wheel, cut it out.. put the shifter into 5th gear to get it out the way... then remove the holder for the heater core and evap cond. and slide it out... oop's, remove the elephant snout at the firewall, if its still there... then pull the cores.. well, looks like a wrote a small book.. ok guy's, what did I leave out?? jojo
  11. no sweat... my sugestion is to get the survice buliten for the CV/CX/CH.... I dont want to write the book.. jojo
  12. Macks,,, I would hope they try to tax the Illegals that walked into our house with Joe Biden 'T-Shirts'.. since they obviously have a better contact to our guvment, than we do.. plus they have free I-Phones and baby formula, health care, travel, rent, ok, time to stop.. Next??? jojo
  13. I should hope you called Volvo..? I know in earlier trucks the ignition switches are stupid, I beleive there is a P.I.C. on the ign. switches.. jojo
  14. My wife used to haul lime out of the plant there in ripplemeade.. off rt.100 ,, she drove a Columbia with a 3 bay dry bulk trailer,, She drove for Johnson concrete, and supplied 4 plants with product.. Those pipes are from Johnson concrete.. I maintained their fleet for 7 1/2 years. jojo

  19. O.D. how are you able to post so many pictures? I am trying to post pic's, but I dont have enough MB's.. I reduced the pic size, but still cant post it.. I'm not trying to steal this thread,, maybe P.M. me with the answer... jojo
  20. I tried to post a pic of what I did on the corner of my property,(10 years ago), where my fence was hit several times by drunks and crackheads.. I have 3 , 18" by 6' concrete pipes that have steel mesh inside.. D.O.T. pipe.. 2 weeks ago an 18 wheeler flatbed came down my little street, but couldnt make the swing around my corner. I went out there with my forklift and picked it up on the ICC bumper and moved it to the middle of the turn so he could drive off.. His trailer was resting on my pipes.. anyway, i didnt photo the truck, my wife, who is also a driver, was instructing him from our fence, to tell him how to pull forward, while I was lifting him and putting him into place.. It was cool and I know a few of you would have had a laugh.. .. jojo
  21. 🤔
  22. did you replace the oil pump? if so, was it a PAI pump.. I just used 2 of them in a row, and low idle, fully warmed up, the pressure is around 30-32 PSI.. I have had 35 plus with Mack pumps. However, going down the road the PAI pumps make 50+.. jojo
  23. Sometimes it's no mystery how Biden got elected.. I was watch "Meet the Depressed" a few minutes ago. Yes it was about the abortion bill.. Some of the footage looked like a bunch of lesbians at a rally/parade, holding, "Keep abortion legal" sign's.. What do they have to worry about? They wouldnt know how to use a penis to make an unwanted baby anyway... Yep!!! That's how ... Dumb a$$'s.... jojo
  24. drain it through a strainer to catch any chunks.. I use a 6" trainer from the dollar store. the magnet plug's and tray will hold peices as R.E.D. said.. jojo
