  1. E-Tech... I am using the part number that the reman center installed originally. I prefer steel rollers.. The owner didnt want me to stray from the current part number as well.. and since I literally, finished an ASET-C the day before, with ceramic lifters, he said to do it again, with this E-Tech.. As far as calling PAI, I would like to but the owner pulled out his credit card and paid for the parts I put in the 'Cart'.. It's ok... I will just build it with what comes.. Thanks guy's... jojo
  2. yes. 690 jacobs... this is the first time it has been apart, according to the owner. I have to say,,,, it did run for 11 years... I ordered a cam kit through ATL Diesel. it is a PAI kit, and ceramic lifters and ceramic EUP lifters are listed in the parts list.. I havent ever seen ceramic EUP lifters before, either.. Of course I can't call my Mack dealer to get answers to my questions... Just when I thought I knew the E-Tech 'top-to-bottom',,,, this crap pops up. jojo
  3. "Cash for Clunkers" What a joke !!! All these libtards preach is climate change issues, and caring for the environment, but they make everything to expensive to fix and create more trash than needed. Just count how many pieces you throw away the next time you get a new cell phone.. jojo
  4. what a bullshit video... the damn thing ran.. why not pull it and sell it.. or sell the whole truck.. and the rootz blower is valuable,, I know, because I tried to help a farmer fix a 353, but the blower took a crap when we cranked it.. 2 grand for another used one.. anyway.. it sucks ... jojo
  5. I have a question.? I just stripped an E-Tech. It is 11 years old built by the Mack Re-man center. What surprised me is that it has Ceramic lifters.. But does not have spring loaded exhaust pushrods. Why do I feel like I havent seen that combo before? What am I missing here? It is in a 2001 RD.. I thought CCRS had spring loaded pushrods, and was a year later? I wish I had saved the cam from the ASET-C I just finished yesterday to look at the back-cut on the cam. That's all I can think of.. Even though I have built many of these, every once in a while I have a question.. And MackVo is no help at all... Hell they dont even know what I'm working on anymore.. Since I found BMT, I don't mind asking question's, even if I should already know the answer by now... jojo
  6. its in the today's list... I was hoping to pull out a few laughs... B.T.W. I love the Ford truck!!!! keep it coming... One of these days Im gonna drive a couple hours north and say hello... Jojo
  7. I always check the Birthday list daily,, I would like to wish Miss. Sherry Stone a happy 138'th Birthday!!! You go Girl.... Jojo
  8. I also liked the brush strokes in the paint job... I have a truck with the same style of paint work.. Just blue and white... .. jojo
  9. Thats because they are running out of fabricated stories that depict the white man as a racist.. The problem is, that there is no shortage of idiots that believe them... So they can continue 'Wowing" their audience with lies... Just pick a topic, any topic... They can spin the lie into truth in a minute.. jojo
  10. did you remove the clutch arm from the fork shaft?? it needs to be be off... jojo
  11. Happy Birthday of The U.S.A. guy's.... America !!!! 'F' Yeah !!!!!! jojo
  12. I too have a bunch of parts, its getting smaller.. I had a bunch of old Ford car engine parts that I rescued from a bulldozer, I was able to sell a lot of it at a major Swap meet event near me, I sold them cheap, but they went to good homes, and not back to China in little pieces, only to be resold to us as new junk... I wish I could find a place to bring my 'core' parts.. I hate to trash them, especially because finding the replacement part was an effort.. jojo
  13. Thanks Paul, Happy Birthday to the United States of America..!!! 🎂 jojo
  14. was the radio replaced? i see the truck is new... but if you changed the radio, you have to tell the truck you changed it using P.T.T.,, maybe it just needs to be re-programmed.. jojo
  15. you may want to take it off, with care and box it up.. someone may want it and be willing to shed a few dollars.. plus you are not throwing hard to find parts in the trash as I still see guys do.. just a thought... jojo
  16. hey TJC... its an '09.. that means it s a Vulva..... He can use the 'magic wand' on the right side of the steering column to read the code.. of course it's a Vulva... He will still need to write the code down and look it up.... Of course it is a Vulva.. .. sorry, I may have not been clear here... jojo
  17. yep....
  18. Once again... I saw the word "Delete" on a post about a 2007 and newer truck.... The computers on these trucks are smarter than us... 'sorry' I ment, Me... Too many sensor's, analizing the engine..... as it runs... anyway, I don't know, jojo
  19. so does it pull hot air off the exhaust manifold, for warming up the engine? I would like to think the valve is in the bypass position when cold, and then when air pressure is up, you can switch to 'normal' I dont know, just curious.. jojo
  20. maybe a cracked intake manifold, or missing bolts... jojo
  21. Traitor...
  22. so now the Bidenite's, here in N.C. are going after an 87 year old white woman, for the Emmit Hill killng back in 1955... Of course it IS about racism against a Black person... Really??? Jojo
  23. yep,, of course model and year of the truck would help... Glenn is the Man... jojo
  24. have you just tried to pull the throttle stop, while it is running, and push it back in before the engine spins down to stop, and see if it picks up fuel and starts back up??? I know i said something about fuel filters, but while i was siting on the toilet,, a minute ago,, I had a thought.... jojo
