  2. Just to clarify, I meant the hand held gauge.. sorry... if there is a difference in boost readings from the dash gauge and the hand held gauge, then I would check the sensor.. and I see I posted that my test hose is 12 inches long, I meant 12 feet.. sorry again... sometimes I type too fast.. jojo
  3. Not sure what the negative is here.. Git 'r done.... Jojo
  4. if youre gauge shows proper boost, then I would look at the sensor and the wiring.. these EECU's are very sensitive and also piece's of SH!T... jojo
  5. ok... so.... is the boost issue, something you are seeing on a dash gauge? or is it in a test screen on a computer? may I suggest putting a pressure gauge into the intake manifold. I believe there is a small square headed plug in the intake manifold. install a long hose there with a gauge on the other end and take it in the cab with you and go for a drive.. I have one made up with a 12" hose so I can do just that.... jojo
  6. It's all good.. There are some really smart people here.. I feel like Vlad from Russia will know the answers, and Glenn, Hell there's too many to list.. theres a bunch from Canada too... you'll see.... jojo

  11. yes. as long as it seals to the coolant filler neck.. the fluid will change color if exhaust is detected.. yellow or purple.. just follow the directions... jojo
  12. any chance the full vin is stamped in the right frame rail in front of the cab by the steer tire?
  13. is the primer pump leaking when you prime it up?
  14. Damn... I get it.. shit happens.... jojo
  15. at the least I reach into the truck and check the shifter to see if its in nuetral, especially on freight shakers, like the one thats in my shop today, because the key is in the bottom left corner and its easy to just stick the key in and crank while standing on the ground.. so i reach in and push the stick to be sure.. jojo
  16. I saw that, just wanted to have a laugh... jojo
  17. or at the least a broken right hand... ouch!! jojo
  18. I thought the same thing... I cant imagine the force it took to break a Mack tranny.. I would expect the driver had broken ribs from the thrashing that occured... jojo
  19. yep, and 'V' is pretty slick too.... and Mackpro.... jojo
  20. RW-713/ 001554.... E-9 450/500... Eaton 15 spd... jojo

  22. I'm so sorry... I have only done 3 bull gear replacements, and yes it is a big, EXPENSIVE job. the last one I did was in a GU rolloff trash truck. I pulled the engine on that one. I also had to do a harness, rods and mains, and a valve adjustment. So I decided to pull it.. When my servivce manager got back from training and saw the engine on blocks, he flipped out and looked at me and asked what was I thinking, and said we dont need any Mavericks here.. I just finished my work, and when the time came to test drive the truck, I didnt have to go back and re-fix a damn thing.. anyway, a bit off topic, just wanted to share some history.. jojo
  23. I am a nut when it comes to shop manuals, They are priceless to me. They never need batteries, or a WiFi signal to operate.. and they are portable as well,, What a concept !! I have a Midliner svc manual coming on tuesday. #526S In the pics, the table with the tranny and rear end books, is one of 3 complete sets that I have.. 2 sets dont even have my greasy finger prints in them... Jojo
  24. Another thing,,,, I dont mean to question youre skill's, but I have to ask... When you cleaned the cup bores, did you have all of the cups out or just 2? if so, was the cleaning process thorough? there are galleries in between that can hide particles and bristles from any brushes, and so on. did you make sure the seats were free of carbon and debris before seating the cud. did you use the correct cup installing tool? sorry about all the Q's, but i have to ask.. was the swaging bit new or within specs? ok, I will stop here for now.. with respect, Jojo
