  1. I have to admit... I've only done about a dozen MP harness's, it's been 4+ years since the last one, until 2 weeks ago.. Take a guess on what I did??? JOJO
  2. Are you needing the part number for the bell housing to fit the Eaton tranny. I have a VIN from an '87 Superliner, with the 15 spd. Eaton.. bolted to an E-9.. jojo
  3. I see you replaced the wire harness.. When you start the truck, does it turn over for about 10 seconds before it fires? My point is that if the harness is not plugged in correctly, you will get multiple codes and extended crank times. this would indicate that the cam and/or crank sensor are not plugged into the correct sensors. For some reason, VOLVO, uses the same type of plugs and duetch connectors on the harness, so it is very easy to plug into the wrong sensor.. jojo
  4. There is a ton of info stored in the brains of the members here.. I believe that when you start working this truck you will be happy with it. So for now, thats all I got. jojo
  5. its also not an XT... and the Schwitzer S400 SO41 turbo was what I saw on most applications... jojo
  6. These trucks are slow and deliberate.. This truck will pull.. yes change the fuel filters.. also keep in mind that the V-Mac III system reads the trucks movement and delivers fuel as needed. When you are empty, and you push the pedal to 100 % throttle, and the speed sensors see a quick rise in road speed, the computer sees that you are empty and cuts back on fuel delivery... when the throttle is at 100% and road speed gains slowly, then the computer thinks you are loaded and delivers fuel accordingly.. Seat of the pants acceleration may seem the same. however, you will move the load effectively.. It aint no Cummin's . sometimes setting the governor setting from 'min-max' to 'allspeed' can perk it up, but......... it's still a Mack. Slow and deliberate... Jojo
  7. Unlike our southern border...
  8. so Our King says Russia will invade Ukraine.. He seem's to be truly concerned. I bet 2,000,000 Russian's wont just walk into Ukraine... Any thoughts?
  9. did you swage the cups correctly? is the oil level rising? this would be a good reason to take an old valve cover and cut the top out of and mount it to your engine and run it to see if there are bubbles coming from the cups... I havent done it on a Volvo but i have done it on my chevy engines. jojo
  10. I never really understood compression tests without a stem and a gauge in the injector hole... however, I have used cyl. cutout and balance tests, with some succes...jojo
  11. Well ????? Oh Well... 😉
  12. I thought the blue button had a lock out so you couldnt upshift the range lever, however, if you open it up and trim the lockout off, i imagine you could do it... please correct me if im' wrong... jojo
  13. I believe he Majored in 'Wiener' dogs.. with a minor in "Rearing" jojo
  14. I wish this B.S. would just go away... What the Hell is going on?? And this 'Fruitcake' supports beasteality ... Hell I cant even spell it right, (Thank God!)... jojo 🤮
  15. Neo, I ordered the service manual for Midliners, and should receive it Tuesday. I will do my best to keep up with you on the 3 post's you have, and send pic's and info accordingly.. I still think its easy to find the air leak when you hook shop air to the truck. I would un hook the air supply from the compressor at the tank. Install an air line coupler into an open port that may have a plug in it, or install a 'T' fitting behind an air line that is coming out of the tank, then install a coupler into the 'T' and reinstall the air line. this way you have a test port, or a port to air up the truck, for other reasons. once this is done, the air compressor line that you removed from the tank is set aside and a plug is screwed into the tank. now you have isolated the compressor and closed the the system from the tank outward. put shop air to it and then crawl around and find the leak... I have a couple of air nipples screwed together for this type of testing. jojo
  16. That's why I said that others may shift it differently, there own way.. I did a bunch of combos in a Mack 12 speed, and then when I got into an 8LL,, it was less shifting, but still a great tranny.. jojo
  17. I think its more for ground work on sites... when you are very heavy or stuck or in tight spots, it's a starter gear... jojo
  18. Legalizing pedophilia is next....
  19. I was taught that you can select lo-lo, then shift from lo to 1st, then split 'up' while in 1st. and shift the rest of the gears normally, however, I bet there is a few ways to shift this tranny without over speeding a gear.. This is my favorite Eaton tranny... jojo
  20. This Just IN !! 1 Soldier and 3 civilians are hurt in Ukraine, from Russian artillery.. Here's the Kicker..... Kamala is on an emergency flight to Europe... I thought the real border crisis was a bit more to the Southwest of another country ??? I guess I was not paying attention very well... Jojo
  21. Neo, It seems to me you have 3 threads on this issue.. in this last post you said you CAN get parts for a Midliner.. if you CAN get parts for youre Midliner, then you are sitting on a gold mine... I have a Book coming my way, if there is info in it that you need, I will try to share it.. I still think you can remove the old air management system and mount a small air dryer that will have the purge valve in it. as far as the unloader valves, those should be in the air compressor head.. jojo
  22. that post is 8 years old....
  23. I guess I should have figured you did.. Jojo
  24. I only saw a few of these and they WERE dissconnected.. jojo
