  1. Legalizing pedophilia is next....
  2. I was taught that you can select lo-lo, then shift from lo to 1st, then split 'up' while in 1st. and shift the rest of the gears normally, however, I bet there is a few ways to shift this tranny without over speeding a gear.. This is my favorite Eaton tranny... jojo
  3. This Just IN !! 1 Soldier and 3 civilians are hurt in Ukraine, from Russian artillery.. Here's the Kicker..... Kamala is on an emergency flight to Europe... I thought the real border crisis was a bit more to the Southwest of another country ??? I guess I was not paying attention very well... Jojo
  4. Neo, It seems to me you have 3 threads on this issue.. in this last post you said you CAN get parts for a Midliner.. if you CAN get parts for youre Midliner, then you are sitting on a gold mine... I have a Book coming my way, if there is info in it that you need, I will try to share it.. I still think you can remove the old air management system and mount a small air dryer that will have the purge valve in it. as far as the unloader valves, those should be in the air compressor head.. jojo
  5. that post is 8 years old....
  6. I guess I should have figured you did.. Jojo
  7. I only saw a few of these and they WERE dissconnected.. jojo
  8. ok.. gotcha.. well if I have any info you need in my books, I can take pics and send it through P.M. or text... jojo
  9. the wires on the truck side of the plug tend to rot and break down.... a gentle tug of each wire up the harness in different spots may reveal a fray. hopefully it will just break and then you can fix it an roll on.. jojo
  10. ok, how about the sensor in the lower left flywheel housing? around 8 O'Clock ?
  11. Sweet... thanks for posting the fix... jojo
  12. I dont know if this will help you, but I buy manuals from a website called: "My power manuals.com" (one word) I have about 12. all are engine books.. instant downloads, low prices, and I put them on 2 C.D''s and load them onto a laptop that is in my shop, then put the C.D.'s in a case in my office, in case I need them again.. good luck, jojo
  13. ok, on the firewall may be a black ground breaker next to the starter relay.. I think you have bad ground or grounds
  14. check the accessory relay in the dash, you should here a loud click when you turn the key on.. find that relay and clean and tighten the contacts... jojo
  15. My guess is you have Robert Bosch electric injection pump.... If so.. when you are back to the yard, while it is idling, check the quality of the pins in the gray deutch plug on the governor housing by wiggling the plug and its wires at both ends. gently pull each wire as if you were trying to pull it out of the plug. I have seen many times were the pins get loose and sometimes, one will slide in the plug and barely be touching. especially if the plug has been repaired before or is not secured in the clips with zip ties... jojo
  16. what does the tag on top of the front valve cover say? the part number starts with '11GBA'...... jojo
  17. Been there done that,, at least I made a few people laugh... jojo
  18. when you buy the injector 6 pack it comes with the correct cups. the engines head accepts them.. jojo
  19. 5/16"....... 3/8" would be great. jojo
  20. here in N.C it's 2 years also, and they will suspend your liscence if you dont get the card re-newed.. I sleep with CPAP, so mine is 1 year.. even though I am not employed as a driver anymore. jojo
  21. Mech. I know what you mean, and TJC.. drivers stare at their phones more than they do the windshield.. and if they are looking through the windshield, they are only looking over the edge of the hood.. I dont know why the "Smith system" is not taught anymore, Sometimes I wish they would post signs with the "Smith system" on billboards along the highway.. Not on one billboard, but on 5 individual ones so they arent trying to read all 5 at 80MPH... Mech. I have only a few years in a tractor trailer, running the East coast, I have driven through Hartford on I-84 about 100 times, on my route from (P.A. to Maine and back) maybe a bit less, dont remember,, but what I do remember is how many people changed lanes so often and would just go from left to right, or even right to left to grab the next exit, in a flash... and when the highway opened up to 12 lanes it still didnt seem like enough lanes... it's been over 5 years since I drove through there in my 4 wheeler.... and let's not forget I-290 in Worcester M.A. I always called it "The Worcester Raceway"... jojo
  22. I wish I could remember how the air dryer is mounted on the Midliner.. If it's remote and not mounted to the tank, couldnt he just buy an AD-6 smaller air dryer and install it, then re-build the hoses, input/output, and route new ones? Just curious, and if this can be done then you will have a modern, easy to get parts for, air dryer... jojo
  23. Im just glad my brain isnt 'washed'
  24. yes and there is a primer that goes on the cups before install. Its good that you have the skills.. and the tools.. if you have access to 'Impact' you can print the book.. I did some years ago.. I myself stay away from these jobs in my business, because I do not feel comfy doing them outside of the dealership. and without PTT to check my work when its done... jojo
