OK... I have used it on trucks as new as 2013.. My thoughts are to see if they have one that is at least US-10 and newer, but around 2018 or so, it's an OBDII style plug, and there may be some protections in the truck to keep you out of it's ECM's.. I was warned not to use mine on the last few models that had the 9 pin duetch, for that reason... I never risked it.. Let us know what you buy and its ability to perform.. jojo

Hmmm... That is strange, Is the light control module faulty? How about a loose or bad ground wire... They are 'gray' in color.. I assume that a pressure switch on the park brake system controls the lights as well.. I dont know.. It may be best that I set back and watch, and if I come up with something, I will jump back in.. jojo

I was going to ask you if you had big plans for tomorrow.. I always liked the look of the Brigadier.. I never worked on one, though.. I look forward to seeing this B-Model, when he gets more done to it.. I kinda like the brown interior.. I have only seen green ones,, and the red ones that are fire trucks.. I had the pleasure of driving one last year.. It was an "A" model Mack fire truck, a very rare truck.. I drove it about 70 miles.. I will PM you a picture, dont want to steal this guys post..

I just read a news story about our King.. He was at a conference on Hunger, and asked for Jackie Walorski... I guess he wanted to hear from her... However, she and 3 others were killed in a car accident on Aug. 3 2022.. In the state of Indiana... We have 2 more years of this crap.. and if he ends up removed from the throne, then we will either be controlled by Dr.Jill, or Kamala... God help us...

Have you un plugged the right side and checked for power on the harness to see if it is getting power correctly? Jojo

yes.... yours is a 2 valve, and I think in '86 the 4 valve came out.. '90 was the first E-7...

no.. hook positive to ground, and neg to the line that goes to batt. neg. I have a positive ground truck, and it just seems to me that it is just simply reversed.. Have you searched some of these questions on the web? I did a little research, and that's how I came up with my simple thought's.. to me 'positive ground' is an oxymoron... Basically the chassis carries the voltage, and the ground is direct to the neg. on the battery... I hope others will add to this, and If I am wrong, please accept my apology... Maybe Glenn or Mechaholic, V, F,, heck too many to mention... jojo

I bet 30-40 Amps... I suggest a separate circuit, with a circuit breaker, or Maxi fuse.. Also, be sure the control switch can handle the amp's and make sure what is plugged in has a tight connection, so that heat is not generated by a loose connection on a high amp. circuit.. I'm sure you have replaced a melted heater fan switch or a Ford headlight switch in the past? Hope for more opinion's on this one... jojo

What Year Mack? I have a really good, affordable scan tool from O.T.C. It gives the basic info, then I go to my V-Mac books and read the flow chart's.. around $300.00 for the tool...

sad but.... it's almost complete....U.S.S. of A....

It's too bad Mr. Casey isn't close to me.. I have to pull a 454 and Turbo 400 tranny out of a C-10 Silverado.. I sure could use a good mechanic to help me pull it and re-build it.. Jojo

No biggie, just tossin some stuff out there... When I did the B-model, I removed the inner seal, and filled it with oil... 80W90... jojo

I'm no pro, but you reckon the hubs have a seal in the middle, and the wheel bearings are packed with grease, like a B-Model?

Hmmm? Don't see why 80W90 would be wrong.. you reckon, the climate you are in should dictate? As well as oil change intervals... Synthetic oil wasnt around when it was born.. jojo

yeah,,, UPS and USPS, had the pedestals on the hood's, but no Pup's.. That one looks like about a '96.. I worked on a lot of these many years ago... No 'Pup's' On the hood.. and the grill doesnt have MACK on it either... Those that were spring ride, were noisy to drive... Clackity Clack Clack... Now i'm thinkin 'bout the old USPS cab overs I used to drive to and from, to get them to the shop, then back to their yards.. Single 'x' tractor, real short wheelbase, Allison 5 or 6 spd. 55 mph tops. and I always thought If I had to slam on brakes, the damn thing would sit on its nose and I would be looking at the road... MR's?? not MH's . jojo
