  1. yes to all... I still use it to 'time' back boxes for Eaton and Meritor trannys.. the loose washers are shims.. it is all just scrap... Mack rear engine mount washers, ole Eaton back box bearing cups, Int. brake shoe anchor pins, Mack air bag top bracket, and the big nut is the tranny output shaft nut... Looks like junk or modern art, but the darn thing works... jojo
  2. Well, Having a slow business day today.. so I'm watching the news between chores, and posting here,,, N.Y.C. Police leaders are having their officers, check vaccine status of customers in restaraunts, but are not told to go after the excess of crime that hit the street's recently... (I summed that up).... Jojo
  3. aint it funny how people traveling by air are delayed and canceled, and have covid rules to follow. But if you illegaly cross the southern U.S. border, there is an airplane waiting to take you anywhere in the U.S. and why is President Harris mailing out 500,000,000 covid test kits in the U.S. when our population is just over 350,000,000? I wonder who the other 150,000,000 people are???? any guesses? jojo
  4. so true Brocky... I shake my head so much I think I hurt my neck permanently.. There is so much that's wrong, between Covid, the economy, the continuing claims that everything white people do is racist, to the destruction of our countries core value's and the constitution, to hatred for the Police dept's.... the destruction of Christianity... on and on.... sorry bud, jojo
  5. Thanks... I will set up a notification... jojo

  9. I still don't believe there are that many idiots that voted for JB.. No F'n way.... I have said this since 11/4/20... No F'n way !!!!! it's rigged.... Jojo
  10. can Soni post a picture?
  11. I was hoping you would show up on this one Glenn.... jojo
  12. is the throttle link slipping on the throttle shaft? if so, you can pull the 'D' shaped spacer out of the arm to get it tight untill you get a new arm link.. just be carefull that you dont damage the shaft..jojo
  13. totaly re-usable.. if you used a 3/4" wrench to take it off, the line will be a #6.. The fitting is #6 JIC... the number should be stamped into the fitting on one of the flat's... jojo
  14. heres one of my rigs I made 10 + years ago to do a synchro in an eaton.. I was in a bind and had to hurry, so I grabbed a bunch of scrap out of the bin and made this terd.. I have done over 2 dozen of sychro jobs with it since.. I keep thinking about making a prettyer one, but it friggin works. Just for laugh's.... jojo
  15. those bike jacks are great and cheap enough to do exactly what he did.. Ive been through a couple of them myself to make tools to get a job done... ie: pulling a back box of an Eaton tranny... Very cool !!! jojo
  16. Hell yeah !!!!! They even drink my beer... now I want one... a beer that is... luv it jojo
  17. Thankyou Paul... I was curious.. reckon he will have an easier time getting parts if it's italian? jojo
  18. forgive my lack of knowledge, but is Iveco a Renault? and here's something I learned years ago, almost the hard way.... Any time you have to work behind the dash board, pull the wiper fuse...! the wipers work with out the key being on, and if youre hands are in there and you bump the wand for the wipers you can loose a digit or break youre hand... Jojo
  19. there is always the option of buying a rear end with the correct ratio and of course in good condition, and building it on the bench.. The last 'whole' one I bought from Re-Mack was $4300.00....5 years ago.. don't know if they still offer them.. "Overdrive rebuilders" Is who I've been using since... not sure if they are in your area, but it's a thought.. jojo
  20. yes sir... My words make it sound easy... but it can be done.. it would be best to pull the carrier out and mount it secureley on a table, even if you made a 'jig'... jojo
  21. yes sir... and she can be a B!t(#....
  22. I guess you are close to Concord.. Anyway I get it... I would rather have snow than freezing rain any day ... her in central N.C. we get ice.. but only for a half of a day... it's easy... jojo
  23. How about buying an air locked power divider housing and shift fork assembly, and the cam drum, peanuts and inner cam, and building it and shimming it to fit back into the carrier housing, then get the drive shaft shortened by the difference between the auto power and the air locker set up? then you can run an air switch to the dash and hook a light or buzzer to it so you know if it's locked in.. you can use the current bevel pinion that is in the carrier and set tooth pattern the normal way after you convert the housing.. jojo
  24. I know what you mean about having room to work... I have done a boatload of work on MR's and LE's... it's really great compared to other truck's Iv'e had the diss-pleasure of working on... The 2000'ish DM cracks me up.... I had to remove the right corner cab mount and jack the cab to get the engine brake spacer out of the rear head.. I thought it was a joke... but my co-worker said.. yep, that's how you do it.. I was just doing a valve adjustment.. I still think there was a worn out cab mount or something... but I would still work on one today.. great trucks.. and as you know, pulling a transmission in an 'R' chassis is much more work than many other trucks, even if they have a wet system.. I have a KW W900 at my shop with a 3406.. I have to run the valves, and whatever else I find.. you know... open the hood... and there it is.. Almost as much room as a superliner.. jojo...
  25. No doubt... You having a white Christmas in "The Granite State"? Jojo
