  1. Thankyou Paul... I was curious.. reckon he will have an easier time getting parts if it's italian? jojo
  2. forgive my lack of knowledge, but is Iveco a Renault? and here's something I learned years ago, almost the hard way.... Any time you have to work behind the dash board, pull the wiper fuse...! the wipers work with out the key being on, and if youre hands are in there and you bump the wand for the wipers you can loose a digit or break youre hand... Jojo
  3. there is always the option of buying a rear end with the correct ratio and of course in good condition, and building it on the bench.. The last 'whole' one I bought from Re-Mack was $4300.00....5 years ago.. don't know if they still offer them.. "Overdrive rebuilders" Is who I've been using since... not sure if they are in your area, but it's a thought.. jojo
  4. yes sir... My words make it sound easy... but it can be done.. it would be best to pull the carrier out and mount it secureley on a table, even if you made a 'jig'... jojo
  5. yes sir... and she can be a B!t(#....
  6. I guess you are close to Concord.. Anyway I get it... I would rather have snow than freezing rain any day ... her in central N.C. we get ice.. but only for a half of a day... it's easy... jojo
  7. How about buying an air locked power divider housing and shift fork assembly, and the cam drum, peanuts and inner cam, and building it and shimming it to fit back into the carrier housing, then get the drive shaft shortened by the difference between the auto power and the air locker set up? then you can run an air switch to the dash and hook a light or buzzer to it so you know if it's locked in.. you can use the current bevel pinion that is in the carrier and set tooth pattern the normal way after you convert the housing.. jojo
  8. I know what you mean about having room to work... I have done a boatload of work on MR's and LE's... it's really great compared to other truck's Iv'e had the diss-pleasure of working on... The 2000'ish DM cracks me up.... I had to remove the right corner cab mount and jack the cab to get the engine brake spacer out of the rear head.. I thought it was a joke... but my co-worker said.. yep, that's how you do it.. I was just doing a valve adjustment.. I still think there was a worn out cab mount or something... but I would still work on one today.. great trucks.. and as you know, pulling a transmission in an 'R' chassis is much more work than many other trucks, even if they have a wet system.. I have a KW W900 at my shop with a 3406.. I have to run the valves, and whatever else I find.. you know... open the hood... and there it is.. Almost as much room as a superliner.. jojo...
  9. No doubt... You having a white Christmas in "The Granite State"? Jojo
  10. Im no genius, but, I drag and drop them on my desktop screen, then open the ' reply to this topic' window, and drag and drop them to the attachments section.. then I put them in a folder that I have for BMT stuff.. the cab over is an MS series, and the conventional nose is a CS series.. I only know of 200 + 300 model's.. I worked on a bunch of them up in Portland Maine, 20+ years ago... really good trucks.. Brush up on youre "French" you'll need it to buy parts.... Jojo 🎄🎅
  11. I forgot.... Duhhh I posted My International in "Other truck Makes" jojo
  12. start youre own thread in one of the different catagories. ie: antique and classic Mack truck's/ Truck show's and event's/ Odd's and end's... Everyone here is so cool that you will get responses where ever, have you looked at the topic's list on the home page? when someone with a lot of followers post's on youre topic. it snowball's, and many more will chime in... Merry HaunaKwanzaMas ! Jojo
  13. when you say a Mack 200... do you mean a Midliner? Pic's-Pic's-Pic's
  14. Ditto !!! Welcome aboard... jojo
  15. Awesome !
  16. inline 6's were much better, in most situation's... No offence to the E-9...
  17. 1990. first year for E-7
  18. just for kick's.... rotate the dimmer switch back and forth really fast with the side of youre hand a bunch of times and see if it cleans the contacts... It works if the switch is just dirty or been sitting a while... great truck, My favorite Mack model... Jojo
  19. Merry HaunaKwanzaMas.... Jojo
  20. if you have the pressure sensor on the regulator, take the sensor out, linstall a 't' then put the sensor back in the 't' and hook a gauge to the open port.. 1/4" NPT.. I have one made up with a long hose, so I can put it in the window and hang it on the sun visor so I can drive the truck and test it.. welcome aboard... jojo
  21. a couple places.. I hook into the return port on the right side of the block, however another 'Poster' here suggests the port behind the top of the overboard breather. it is on the right front corner of the engine and has 15/16" hex nut made into the lid. remove the lid and you can get to the small plug in the fuel gallery.. you will need to use 3" long male pipe union to reach out enough to hook a gauge to.. 60+ PSI....Jojo
  22. From youre brain to my ears.... Amen !! 67... jojo
  23. I was thinking the same thing TJC. I havent gotten the shot yet.. We were told that our natural immunity is better, 6 month's ago. I guess I will just keep myself as I am. Folk's I know that got the Gov. Shot were sick for a few days. anyway... Merry HaunaKwanzaMas... Jojo
  24. yes, if your Mack Dealer will help you.. I do not have the part numbers, otherwise I would post them for you... The issue I found was that the S-cam was too short, coming out of the S-cam housing, and I was unable to shim the slack out to clear and get the outer snapring on.. jojo
