  1. grab a 3/4" wrench and remove one of the celenoids.. there should be a green oring around it and a smaller white one, in the base, both are square cut o-rings.. replace those and test it again.. jojo
  2. ok. the update was not done.. if oil is squirting out around the bottom of the celenoid, it sounds like they are loose and or the orings failed.. jojo
  3. i wish i could see it... my other question, was about small braided oil lines going through the spacer to the top of the engine brake housing. any way.... oil will squirt from the top of the celenoids,, if it is coming out anywhere else, that will cause poor performance. if you have a leak, get the oring packs and replace them. jojo
  4. how many times did you rev it up and let off? it may take a few tries, the real deal is when you drive it,, hopefully it will pump up with-in a 1/4 mile of engine breaking. those Jacobs engine brakes suck anyway.. there have been several updates, . do you have small steel braided oil lines going to the spacers?
  5. they will squirt oil, you werent leaning over the engine while someone 'stabbed' the throttle, were you? jojo
  6. good call JoeH... I also thought the accessory relay was sticking, but you have a good 'Q' jojo
  7. same customer, he has 5 that he wants done, I tried to load a video of the last one 'running' but it was too big.. I finished 2, and the first one is mounted and pumping water on a dust control truck.. I also did the engine in the truck too,, so far all is good.. jojo
  8. I have this little 'bugger' in my shop as well.. #3 in less than a year, John Deere 3179 diesel..

  10. hell, Nitro had some cool sh!t going on, and Mrs MackPaul is a friggin cowboy out in the field, and I bet Vlad has a boat load of shop talk.. I know theres a bunch more, jojo
  11. and Bob too.
  12. All true Bob,,, My wife filled my ears tonight, "so I saw you riding around with your helper,, What did you guys get done today" well, i went to pick up parts for a customer, then worked in the shop, then took lunch break, went back to work in the shop, then because it was pouring rain, I took my helper home.. anyway, this IS shop talk.. jojo
  13. Well, I did forget a tool that I would love to have,,, a rotating engine stand.. this is what I have right now, thanks to a BMT brother that let me keep it.. The rotator is $6000.00.. maybe later.. gosh almighty... jojo
  14. did you you do the test at the plugs on the spacers? if you did the test, im leaning towards the relay, like Onyx said earlier.. I dont remember which one it is... jojo
  15. Really??? Crazy Ass!!!
  16. Onyx , if you are asking about cutting counter bores, no need for a truck.. its a hand operated tool.. I have all the measuring tools already, depth mics, sled gauge, vernier calipers, and so on.. jojo
  17. Here it is again, Onyx....... jojo
  18. I think im going to advertise a mobile counter bore cutting service.
  19. hell, Bob.. he created this thread months ago, and it was a hit! but then,,,, it went away, deleted.. ??? anyway, glad its back.. I may just bore us by re-posting my posts... jojo

  21. its in my shop, I just cut an engine this week.. also put cam bushings in today,, I need to get a steady diet of E-Tech builds.. I have built over 30 of them, hell I dont know mabey 40??? anyway... jojo
  22. cummins M-11 ?
  23. he got lucky, a lot of times they are sucking engine oil and running on it... its a scary time when it goes off... takes a set of Ball's to jump in and try to shut it down, before the boom... jojo
  24. 👍
  25. i always remove the boot from the intake manifold. this eliminates any chance of fuel oil's to get sucked in.. jojo
