  3. so it has lines like a John Deere dozer engine for example.. For some reason, I dont remember that on and E-7... I forgot the name of the short injector tubes.. the bad line will have a 4'' ish tube over the line with nuts that are made into the line.. when you tighten the nuts on those, you tighten the inner one first, 3/4'' wrench, then you tighten the dust nut over that, 13/16'' wrench.. Pictures would help.

  7. If so, the duetch connector is know to have the terminals loosen and break contact. Make sure to secure it to the little bracket that holds it..
  8. I hate that I am forgetting things.. Do you have an injection pump with the electric gov. housing?
  9. is the new line a Mack line or aftermarket? You may get lucky by pulling the line and using a 400 grit or higher emory cloth and buff the ball ends to get the groove out. I do it on E-Techs with sucess.. I pinch the emory cloth between my thumb and pointer finger, and rotate the line back and forth.. it doesnt require a lot of buffing, i just do it till the groove is gone or nearly gone. If you have another injector, check to see if the spacer tube thingy on the end of the line is not touching the injector. you can do that in your hand. I remember years ago, the ball on the end of the line was small, and that tube thingy would nearly touch the injector, which when torqued down it will not have the correct pressure to seal the ball into the injector port.. I have taken the line to the bench grinder and put a chamfer on the tube thingy to make sure it would not press against the injetor. I hope I typed this in a way that is easy to understand... Jojo

    I remember back when i used PTT. We would open the window to check for updates before using it. Maybe you have updates waiting and then you can force the re-gen again.. i think its a PTT issue. Did the MIL light go out, or at leaste the after treatment codes go away?

  16. It looks like a 1'' tire gun.. I always thought they looked that way, but with a gear on the end instead of the anvil..
  17. check the fuseable link in the battery box.
  18. Where the rockers pivot on the shaft. Deep scratches can happen, putting the rocker in a bind. You can here them chirping at times, keep in touch.. jojo
  19. Definitely check the shaft for gauling, common issue was the hold down bolts would loosen or break, and the plugs on the ends of the shaft would pop out and affect oil pressure. Is there anything loose in the top that may have gotten wedged in the valve spring?

    06' is an ASET IEGR in the granite.. MP-7 is a 2007 and later engine. can you post pictures of the door tag and the engine?
  21. Good find on the relay.. I dont see you as complaining at all.. it's all good.. thanks for the update. I'm curious what HP it is. pulling 20MPH faster is impressive to me.. Wonder if you have a 460 EECU program?

  23. I assume the transmission is a Manual. probably Eaton FRO16-210C.
  24. ok,, if the Remack eng. was installed based on the Vin: it is likely a 355/380 HP. I am not able to search by serial number, only by memory.. Jojo
