  1. you are correct sir... was trying to be funny, but the reality is what you said.... I've seen the migration in a few neighborhoods i've lived in... Now i live in a town that is is full of these POS people, and i'm a racist when I say what is true... Many thanks to all the progressive lib's that created this problem...
  2. yes sir... to me it looked abusive to the rear ends.. too much speed.... I am going to get out of this thread... jojo
  3. the back lash alone will 'F' something up..... jojo
  4. Damn!!!! you just said a lot of what I feel, yes the driving solo, with a mask on is crazy.. Maybe these people need to mow grass on a dry day with one of their masks on, and see how great it works on dust you can see... or maybe get some spray paint and repaint all of the patio furniture or whatever, and see how good it keeps the paint from getting up your nose.... anyway, I'm rambling now... jojo
  5. yeah i'm not sure either. I would check the cam part #'s to see if they are different, for the different HP ratings.. I should know the answer, but I dont, or I forgot... Sorry 880Joe....
  6. I think so, I guess I need to open my engine book and see what it says. but, yes it would be 6 degrees.. 300 and less are retarded 3 degrees, 427 and up are advanced 3 degrees, you just flip the cam key around for the setting you need, Im sure there is more info needed on this but , I can't think of it right now... Im sorry I dont have all the answers right now. jojo
  7. I believe its 3 degrees, and you flip the key to advance or retard the engine. The key is painted on the ends. red is for the low HP engine's 300HP and lower, the White end is for HP above 400... red is retarded, white is advanced.. jojo
  8. Glenn, Good idea. There's a lot of wind coming out the progressive lib's. would we have to convert our houses from A.C. power, to 'DC' power ?
  9. I have an idea.... Lets use infrastructure money to plow down all of the criminal neighborhoods in Chicago, (The windy city) and build windmill farms.. we can even share the mass amount of extra electricity with Canada,,, Ehh!! With Love, Jojo
  10. Im curious how all the electricity will be generated??? Coal?? Natural gas,?? Diesel??.... talk about a 'Carbon footprint'...jojo
  11. ok early spinners had a different spindle than the newer ones.. there were 2 different filters for early E-techs and 2002ish E-techs.. I used too be able to spit the part #'s out... now.... not so good... 2134. and 3178 rings my bell but I forgot the prefix... dammit!!! 34 Gb or something... anyway, check the centrimax filter #... I prefer Mack or Donaldson for this filter...
  12. the centrimax filter sounds like a commiecazie airplane fixin to hit a target,,, shut the engine off and listen to it spin down, it lasts about 30 seconds... just for kicks, open the hood so you can put youre hand on it, then shut it off and hurry out of the seat to feel the filter.. just my crazy thought... it's doable, I had to do it many times to see if the spinner was worn out, and when I held it in my hand I could feel the imbalance in the spinner, and replaced the spindle... and then it was fixed... jojo
  13. just FYI,, the 3 units I looked at had 'single' Sheppard boxes, mounted inside the frame...
  14. it's under warranty....... 1 year on tie rod ends and attached parts and 3-5 years on the steering box. The 3 trucks I brought in to Mack, didnt have Poppet adjustments that I could see, but when I learned they were under warranty, I put my tools away and took them to Mack..
  15. I have to replace the spinner, it leak bad and its looks original, the injector harness is soaked, just outside the head, I unplugged the oil level sensor and it was dry, and the pins in the sensor socket had fully closed tips. I am glad you reminded me about the piston cooling jet control valve, I was hoping to unplug a sensor that has oil pressure on it, but I did not. and it was hard to tell if any of these were replaced, The harness looks original. The owner doesnt know much of the repair history. I want to repair this truck with a strong approach. I will be getting a price for the spinner on monday, so far we are at around $1700.00 in parts, harness, oil level sensor, and pan gasket.. I estimated about 10-12 hrs labor, I reminded them that its been over 3 years since I did one, I have done about 8 of them (in chassis) and a few with the engine out. (Sweet).. thanks for youre post, My whole goal is to just fix it right, my cust. is a small co. 3 trucks... jojo
  16. I read it... If I had the Vaccine I would have tried it... you are right, we are not NUT'S... just real Americans who can see the B.S. that our Commie gov't. is doing... I don't know what it is like in Canada, I assume very similar... Man, I have so many opinion's on this but, I can't post them here...
  17. in the last 8 months, I brought 3 GR104F trucks back to Mack because all of them had steering issues. they would bind up and stop turning the normal way, you had to force the steering wheel and a clunk could be felt and then it would steer. at no given time they would bind up... and you were now driving a truck with 'armstrong' steering... all 3 got new steering boxes... svc. Writer said they see this a lot..... Yaaaayy!!!! You go Volvo..... jojo
  18. holy s#!t.... i'm sorry for youre friends loss,, There is something bigger than us, going on behind the scenes...
  19. Non of this Kung Flu thing makes sense to me... Yes many people got sick and died... That just sucks!!!! Kung Flu added to thier existing health issues and killed them.. Yes, I am about to get my butt handed to me for saying that .... oh well.... Im sorry that your kin got sick, it suck's,, I got the Kung Flu 2/25/21. I was sick for almost all of March, I had lingering effects from it as well... for month's, Hell who know's, mabey the new A-Hole that I am is caused by it.. My issue is that our NEW Commie gov't uses this as a power grab and a tool to control U.S. Citizens... My brother-in-law died in his sleep 3 month's ago, and a Hospital rep offered my sister-in-law, $9000.00 if she said it was a Kung Flu death.. Anyway, our experience here is one of a bunch of Commie B.S. sorry for my rant, but I'm pissed...
  20. thank you DDAY... i have seen it with the oil pan wiring plug on the MP's,, I will pay very close attention, when I replace the harness. I'm trying to get a good parts list ready for Monday, trying to beat the holiday parts slow down. My customer has been down for 3 weeks, and he only called me 3 days ago... thank you, Jojo
  21. Hey Macks??? I started a topicthat you may be able to help me with.. Can you take a look? jojo
  22. yep... 3 days of income loss and a $500.00 bill....... WTF?
  23. I get those Grote tail lights at NAPA... way cheaper than Mack
  24. I am going to replace the harness for sure... I just need to find how the oil got in so it doesnt happen again... Thanks, jojo
  25. I was at Mack yesterday, getting prices for 4515 Q shoes and 996B drums.. $65 for shoes, $160 for a drum...., Last ones I bought this summer, was $45+$100... of course our dealer here in town doesnt have them in stock... I asked if they had disc brake pads and of course,,,,, they had 1/2 a pallet... they also want $1360.00 for an engine harness for an MP-8.. whats the real price? jojo
