  1. Now there's a Man that knows his SH!T !!! Mech, you are a wealth of knowledge...
  2. I am rusty, but gonna toss this out there. I beleive that the 400 had a straight cam key, and the 427&460 had the offset cam key. It advances the cam 3 degrees. It will be a 2 day job, but if you are serious, this will add to a turbo, nozzles and ECM program.. like JoeH said... If your the only driver, then you will take care to not tear it up...
  3. That's a lot to ask for from less than 12 litres. So no turbo or bigger nozzles? And no drive line upgrades for the extra torque ?? Just curious. Ive never done H.P. upgrades that high.
  4. Yes the prices are crazy. 6k for all of it. I was making those repairs 8 years ago at that price.. im glad you are fixed up...
  5. Happy birthday HiCrop10 🥳 🎂
  6. the spring will be stretched when in place. there should be a broken hole in the sheet metal frame work of cab. you can drill another hole next to the broken hole, hook the spring there, then use a stout phillips screwdriver to pry the spring to the clutch pedal arm.
  7. My guess is the hole in the sheet metal gave out, and the spring pulled through the metal. You should see the torn out hole in the cab framework
  8. Yes you did. At the Colfax show 2 years ago...
  9. That is Awesome!!! 🍻. What proud time for you..
  10. If there is rails for the filter, its where the duct mounts to the left side of the HVAC box..

  15. Scraping it is sad. Is there a trans rebuilder shop that will buy it ?? We need to keep the Old Iron running...
  16. Nate, i posted on "shop talk".. i have a machine that i beleive comes from your homeland..
  17. One thing i do is remove one of the plugs in the top of the water manifold, right behind the thermostat housing. The thermostat has a small bleeder, but i just pull the plug then put it back in a full turn or so with the ratchet extension still in it to let air out, then tighten by hand when coolant starts to leak out. Some other guys use a hand vacuum pump on the radiator to suck out the air..
  18. The warning is for low coolant, thats the one in the radiator tank.
  19. 🤔💪💪🍻
