  1. JoeH and Glenn... are you guys talking about the reversing relay screwed into the the intake manifold? I am working on a Superliner with an E-6 4valve, and I was wondering if I should replace the reversing relay.. I havent checked to see if I can get one yet... just curious, Jojo
  2. ok... just because.... is the throttle lever loose or slipped out of adjustment? jojo
  3. loosen 2-3 fuel lines at the head, and pump the hand primer until fuel comes out, wait for the air bubbles to stop. tighten the first line that bleeds, then pump again til another one bleeds, tighten it then go on to the next. (17mm or 19mm wrench) then fire it up !! jojo
  4. they need to be their own country..
  5. pic's ? please ?
  6. check fuse 71, in the EPDM.. its under the dash where the clutch pedal would be...

  8. yes i can , just not sure of the meaning. who knows what?
  9. ?
  10. if this truck is an ASET CEGR, take the air line off of the turbo actuator, and see if good air pressure is present with the truck running and air built up.... if not... go to the VGT air filter and check the system for blockages... many times , the air filter doesnt get replaced, and this issue happens.. it is in front of the starter, probably black as dirt, so you will have to look good... jojo
  11. I'm currently working on an 86 RW... i will have to look,, the headlights look normal to me, but now, i'm curious...
  12. Man .... that is so cool.... I want to drive it.... It will be awesome... jojo
  13. I made a press for that issue... i used 2 mack tranny mount washers and a piece of threaded rod. welded a nut to one end of the threaded rod, and basically made an s-cam seal sandwhich with the tool. I still have it... it still works... jojo
  14. I don't know of any, and with the fancy pants computer's on this truck, you are basically looking for future problems. sorry bud... and deleted truck's can be 'refused' at truck repair shop's because of the delete.... correct me, if i'm wrong..... jojo
  15. Mack svc. bulletin... #SB732003 3/23/2005... I have a printed copy if you need me to post info.. jojo
  16. so you have the 10 dip switches on the back of the speedo? I have the procedure printed out, when you respond I will try to post what you need.. also need to know tire size, 16 teeth on the output shaft of the tranny, and may need to know top gear ratio, probably around .76:1 .. The last one of these that I fixed, i used the book that I have and I put speedometer App on my phone so I could test drive and check it without have to pace another vehicle.. jojo
  17. Well if it's and ASET CEGR, I would get youre wallet strengthened up. If you dont know how to tell what engine series is in it, just look at the turbo... if its huge and you see EGR valve and piping, thats the Expensive one, Good luck. I love Mack's but not the ASET CEGR engine.. there will be more opinions coming... jojo
  18. Bob, would the reason be ,because they could spin and shear off the valve stems? Beautiful Super Dog !! jojo
  19. and as stated earlier... inner seal installed in the right direction.. jojo
  20. for me, at $500.00 per barrel of grease, I would get pissy when I saw piles of grease on the floor.. couldnt get a few of them to just watch for it to purge before it hits the floor.. anyway,,, grease is GOOD. we know that... jojo
  21. yep, but best of all..... Grease !!
  22. I forget stuff that I have done many time's,, when I post 'here' I start out ready type a repsonse, and then 3/4 of the way through, I may just forget.... that's when I ask for youre opinion, and a few others here too.. jojo
