  1. do you have a dial for the dash lights? They do mess up..
  2. May I suggest a good inspection of the plug on the truck harness, and gently tighten the terminals before you plug the new sensor in... Jojo
  3. If its not damaged.. back it off.... then ...by hand.... screw it in til it touches,,,, then back it out 1 full turn. 360 degrees... jojo
  4. Exactly GADave...

  11. I adjusted the air in my toy truck also, for the same reason.. I just put air in until the center of the tire started to get round, but not narrow. I ended up at 45 PSI, for my tires.. 80 is max, for my 9.00 20's..
  12. thank you Vlad... I look forward to the next 2 shows in our area in the next 4 months... Jojo
  13. I also had the priviledge of meeting GADave... He was cool and very, much dedicated to his craft... If he ever writes a book, I will read it...Jojo
  14. I have had a helper to press the clutch fast and hard for me, while I had a piece of flat stock, or a large screwdriver put in place opposite the button, so that the throwout bearing doesnt just move at an angle relieving the pressure to push the button in..... I still dont like these clutch brakes. I prefer the 2 piece aluminum type with the 2 skinny allen headed screws. and the hole is way to small, as you say... jojo
  15. yep, it was an honor. It took an hour to get to and from the show. top speed... 50 MPH... all six of us in a kickbutt convoy... Jojo
  16. They packed us in pretty tight. Here's a few more pics. shortly after taking these pics, there were dozens of kids climbing all over these trucks, you wouldnt have been able to see the trucks... Joey mack
  17. My friend had 6 trucks at the show I will post more pics...
  18. Hell.... You'd be better off riding an old Mack, than any modern diesel pick/up... to hell with the mileage differnce, the Mack wont "Lay-Down" like the computer trucks.. heck, you may get 7-8 MPG, but who cares??? I have a '48 International K-B 7, (gasser),,and I'm just going to go get groceries and 2x4's with it and it's all good.... I hope i'm nut's too...😉.. Jojo
  19. I had the honor of driving this very rare 52 Mack to our local show....
  20. I had the great pleasure of driving a 1952 B-Model that is very rare ,to our local transportation museum. The truck I drove is one of 5 made by Mack and only 2 exist.... 23 years working on Mack's and Proud to do so... I had the Honor to do this today. I was also able to share this with my beautiful wife as well.... What a great day...
  21. what was done at the shop? why did you bring this to the shop....?
  22. thanks Glenn....
  23. they are crude, but totaly worked. I cut my own gaskets to do the test and these caps did not blow bubbles during the test...
  24. Bundle type oil cooler o-rings are still availlable... may i suggest pulling the oil filter pad and resealing it as well. you are already there. ... also you can make 2 simple little blocking plates to pressure test the oil cooler.. I did this a few years ago. I used 1/4" aluminum flat stock... I made 2 caps. In one of them I tapped 1/4 npt threads and installed an air compressor nipple.... The test is done at 80 P.S.I. in a tub of water. I did this on an E-6 2 valve that I am building. In my case, My oil cooler was good... Jojo
