  1. I like it JC. She can use my AK, or SKS with the drum..
  2. Thats my point JC... Less than 2K.. of course the big Gennys are great, but if you dont loose power often , then a gas/ propane one is perfect. Hell dont even put gas in the tank, just keep 2 full grill bottles on hand.. i have 4 grill bottles, i can go 2 full days on 4 tanks, with some left over, as i drive around looking for a filling station, provided we dont have a major event where the whole town is devastated,, then you would just run power when absolutely needed..
  3. Yep.. thats what i have.. i wish i could post pictures again, still get that stupid code 200 crap..
  4. In my low rent opinion... I think that O.D. will do well to assess his power demands and pick a gas/propane powered generator that is a couple thousand watts more then his minimum need. I am pretty sure he can buy the Genny, and get the outlet attached to his panel for 2 grand, tops... If he can do the outlet wiring himself,, that will save on labor and parts mark up.. I think he has a wood stove. O.D., i forgot if you have wood heat.. thats all I got guys.
  5. Have you used a coolant pressure testing tool ? You can test it cold and save a ton of time. It sounds like you have a few cold water leaks. I would wash the engine off and do your best to wash the anti freeze trails off the engine so you you dont chase old leaks.. Harbor Freight has a decent set for cheap money. Lets see what the dog pound says on this one... Jojo
  6. What are you wanting to do??
  7. Zuckerberg only cares about money and power... Hes a piece of Traitor SH!T...
  8. My cord is short and its 8AWG..one size larger than needed for 30 amps. 12 years of service with no issues... And yes, i know how to manually transfer the power..
  9. Im with 67RModel, and J.C. and myself. I have a $1,200.00 10,000 watt. portable connected professionaly to my house, gas and propane powered. It runs my whole house minus the A.C. Electric start for my Wife..
  10. Do you have a whole home generator? If not,, i hear they are cheaper than a P.O.S. Volvo Mack... Im glad you are doing good. I just found out today..
  11. Midliners were really good trucks, heck, 20+ years ago when i worked at Mack in Maine, the parts were hard to get and those that came in, came frome France..
  12. I didnt know they were without power, and dont know why either.
  13. Roof light wires, dont plunge the hole.
  14. I bet its about the single axle.. i havent looked yet.
  15. Not sure what thin heads means, they are ususally reusable if they pass inspection, did new valve seals get installed? Also, i hope you have the liners held down with bolts and big washers, while you are rotating the engine. Also are you checking the height of the liners? Liner protrusion.... Did you pressure test cooling system with heads on and oil pan off to see if you had any leaking liners? Forgive me with all my questions, but i have seen what happens when these preliminary steps arent taken..
  16. JC. Looks like they got the boobs right.
  17. I like the twin sticks, and the revolver cylinder knob..
  18. Ok.... If you didnt mark the plugs on the rear you can easily get the crank sensor and cam sensor swapped. They are the same plugs. (Bad design). I have made that mistake a few times. It will be hard to start. There a 3 plugs back there that are the same, 2 of them cam and crank can reach to each others sensor.. Try to swap them. My guess is the interior puzzle is back together ?
  19. That parking picture is so true..
  20. Yes sir, thats pretty light. Im going to go with this add on will work for him..
  21. Yes, i expect more damage later. However i think he has tried to keep the rears straight, i like to think he is not beating his truck.
