  1. You're right... I always leave out the important details...
  2. this really chaps my ASS!!! our gov't expects to spend 100's of billions of dollars on an expected 13,000 unaccompanied children at the southern border..., and bring (them) what (they) need,, While military families have to drive to food banks and gov't buildings to get assistance to eat, and keep a roof over their heads.. Mabey we need to tax the existing illegals the amount needed, (plus interest) and use that money to help our Military families.. Of course that would have such an impact on votes for Dem's that is so wide, it would be impossible to steal another Presidential election.. I still can't believe nearly 80,000,000 people voted for Biden Harris.. Jojo
  3. Rob... The list of hypocrecies is great... I was asked a while back, what I meant by... "I want our country back".... you summed it up..You were reading my mind on many points.. Great thread, Thank you, Jojo

    Midliner

Well said, Paul... I appreciate what you said... When I have to hunt parts for the older trucks I work on, it's a heck of an effort. I do have a 12 page phone list, with many numbers and address's from around the world... Mabey I need to dig it out and use it.. I guess I could post the info for folks, to help them... Good luck Rick.. Jojo
  5. I know it fits in a CL..That chassis replaced the RW, but CH may also be too light as well as narrow... I'm actually working on an RW713 with another guy. we are turning a tractor into a tri-x dump truck... It has an E-9... I'm proud to be on this job, instead of chasing an exhaust issue in a new Volvo/Mack... jojo

    Midliner

for me ... it's too bad.... the Midliner is a great truck! unfortunatley, the removal of great vehichles is faster now than ever... Your "R" model is also great..... Save all the parts you can save, stay here to chat with us, and keep looking for people that give a damn about what you have... I work on "B" models off and on... and I'm currently working on an '86 RW 713.. When I call for parts...... (know one cares.).. Fix that problem and you will run that "R" model for a long time... Jojo
  8. So it's not running, in that pic? cause alt. gauge is showing 13ish volts, (12.6) is normal, with engine off, and the oil pressure gauge is on zero.... temp is up, but low... or do you have a batt. charger on it with the key on and thats why volts are up? Jojo......

It's been a while since I worked on Midliners. They are very good trucks, and do a great job for their size. What I do remember, was finding the parts... Everything comes from France, and my Mack dealer doesn't care about them... I guess you may want to look for Knowledgeable mechanics and a parts vendor.... I may have stated obvious stuff here,,.. Jojo
  10. I like "Odd's and Ends" Heck I thought I was gonna get booted a couple months ago, when 2 people commented after my comments, basically saying "This post can be remove" and this is why people get booted... I didnt even use foul language. I took a break for a couple weeks just to watch before I came back in.. Anyway, there's A lot of truth behind these funny pics that get posted, and the truth is plain to see in "the real world"... The dem's and Commie's in America are in their own power struggle, on who can destroy America the best..... Jojo
  11. Hell yeah!!!!! You go "F"..... I really like seeing people get help here.. I've seen it often lately... Jojo
  12. I just remembered... DM... Dump/Mixer...
  13. have you installed a pressure gauge on the fuel inlet hose to the engine, or "T" into the output line before the regulator and run the truck with a load and read the pressure? I have one made up with 20' of hose so it can ride with me in the cab.. 80-100 PSI is good. if the pressure bounces a lot, may even get down to 50 or less theres a good chance the pump is slipping or failing.. If you have the fuel sensor located at the regulator, you ca take it out, install a "T" then put the sensor back in and put the gauge on too, and test it... if it's good, Then refer to "F's" post. Jojo
  14. I think RD stands for ... Refuse/Dump... (CH... Const./Highway)... (MR... Municiple/Refuse) (CL... Const./Logging) (LE... Low Entry).. Dont know what RB is... Heck I may be full of crap too, but, somewhere I remember someone telling me this... Jojo
  15. Yes sir... Thats true, the brass axle gets a flat spot that messes with the roller. What amazes me is when I do a cam job on an E-tech that runs.. (crappy but runs) and I pull lifters out that are so worn out the roller is gone and it's riding on the yoke of the lifter, and it didnt'nt drop a valve , bend a pushrod, or any other major damage.. 🤔
  16. Very common problem... I think mack says the roller, stops rolling, and that's the result.. after you get it fixed, adjust the valves according to Mack spec.. also if you have engine brakes (690 Jacobs) buy A 215SB321 reset screw kit for the rockers and bridges. Jojo
  17. I was impressed with how the parts for the '90 E-7 I built was packaged... Heck it even came with piston cooling tubes bolts and balls... The Mack kit doesn't..
  18. yes sir.. I respect youre views,. It's all good... Iv'e learned to agree to dissagree without being A jerk.. Take care sir.. Jojo
