  1. I had my lunch break late so I could watch the press conference..... What the heck was that?? It was late to start, slow and boring as hell, and also the questions were weak, and he didn't even ask Fox what questions they had. I can't believe that he is our leader........... Hopefully Kamala makes California it's own country and sends all of the southern border jumpers there, so that we don't have to pay for them... I have too much to say but i'm going to stop here. Jojo
  2. You are too kind, DCW..... Jojo
  3. This is from my E-6 4 Valve book..
  4. Dissregard my saying the cam bushings have a gallery about half way around.. I had a 2 valve in my head.. these cam bushings should have 3 oil holes.. was the top end dry of oil after you ran it and opened it up? Is the new oil pump gear correct? (ratio) I know you said same issue with old pump, just curiuos..
  5. I guess my next thought is.... are the cam bushings installed correctly, allowing oil to flow properly... ? im going to open my E-6 book. be right back.. Jojo
  6. did you check the main power cable studs on the firewall drivers side? and you can check them inside behind the dash. the gray wires are grounds... also fuse 71 is for the tranny, it is in the E.P.D.M. behind were the clutch pedal would be.. Jojo
  7. Crank journals #2+#5 are the oil feed to the heads.. the cam bearings have an oil gallery that basically goes half way around the bearing, making them easy to warp when installing. Did the cam go in smoothly?
  8. WOW!!! what a beautiful machine... I wish it was mine... Jojo
  9. So China reports that they had their best economy in the world during 2020.. Go figure..... So what will they give to the world this year to stay ahead..... Another virus, How about Nuke's... Biden will let it happen to us as he hides in the Bunker..
  10. Holy Crap!!!! I would love to drive that and kick some "snow bank ASS!!" I came from Maine, and I have been many places where that truck would "Get it done!!!" Jojo
  11. on the fire wall.. open the hood, look at the left side, theres a 4'x6' black box... i think its in the 3rd row from the left, 3or 4 slots down from the top.. 25amp
  12. You know......? This another reason that I like this site created by BMT.... I read posts and it jog's my memory, and then I can share what I learned... Jojo
  13. Thanks "V" youre right..... Now I remember chasing one of these issues many years ago... I took a new battery off the shelf and grounded it to the truck, then ran a jumper to the E.E.C.U. fuse, #40 and powered the E.E.C.U. with the "isolated" battery, and the truck fired up.... damn good call "V" Jojo
  14. So.. They want to make D.C. a state.... OK.... Then force California to be it's own country, and get that state off of our tax bill... Then they (CA) can take on all the southern border jumpers...
  15. That truck is "Tough"!.. does the CL in the background have an E-9?
  16. ok.. Good signs... have you checked the E.E.C.U. J-1/J-2 plugs for coolant wicking as stated in a previous post? is fuse 40 loose or dirty? its in the fuse box on the fire wall next to the steering column.. I'm trying to think of other things to check. do you have chaffed wires to the E.U.P.'s? are they secure on the E.U.P.'s? one repair I have made several times, is the harness coming out of the power distribution on the firewall rubbing on anything and shorting out the wires? jojo
  17. Is the engine worn out? low compression due to age, please tell me you are not using ether to fire it up..
  18. OK. now it sounds like a ground issue...pull the cluster, fix the ground to the left.... open cab fuse panel, fix the ground iside there, clean the ground breaker contacts on the firewall next to the stater relay, clean the ground behind the left steer tire and the other end of it on the engine block.. and just for kicks... make a ground wire that grounds the E.E.C.M. to the engine.. bolt it to one of the mount bolts betweeen the E.E.C.M.. and the mount stud.. they are not conductive to the block....
  19. Well Ben.... I'm not at dealerships anymore, so.... I can't help you with that part.....there are some here that do work at Dealerships.. they will be a better source... good luck on getting the answers you need.... keep trying... jojo
