  1. yes to checking the block grounds, battery, firewall ground breaker, ground posts behind the dash, left corner, and left of the fuse panel on the right.. the block ground goes to the frame behind the left steer tire. 15mm socket and wrench gets it off.. clean any heat shrink glue you see on the eyelets.. it can cause a weak ground by getting between each other... jojo
  2. have you checked fuse #40 in the dist. box on the firewall to see if it's loose or dirty. here is something else I have posted before... take a good 12v battery, and ground it to the truck with jumper cables and come off the positive with a small wire and power up #40 with a small probe or whatever you have that wont damage the fuse socket, and crank the truck... In a few cases, this showed me that the starter was pulling too many volts, away from the ECM.. this is generally for a 'no-start' condition... I hope my rocket did'nt go too far into outer space here? jojo
  3. the hand primers suck!!! MP-7 is not replaceable, gotta do a whole pad.. MP-8 can be replaced... 'F' n 'V', are on a good path... jojo
  4. you can remove it and reseal it, or give Vulva $600.00 for a single aluminum tank kit... jojo
  5. yes... remove the cup holder first, the the tray it sits in, then the 2 torx screws in the panel ,then the torx screws on each side edge of the panel, then it will drop down and out from the bottom. there is a plastic guide pin in the bottom center edge, to clear.. no biggie.. once it is off,, to the right will be the 3/4" opening where a blue filter may be.. thats were the action happens... I bet the core is packed with dirt... you can try to blow it out, but sh!t will fly everywhere... jojo
  6. have you pulled the duct on the right side of the of the HVAC unit and cleaned out the dirt that is in there... just remove the screws and and pry it back about an inch and a half. I made a cardboard tube that fits on my shop vac, and flattened it out so it can squeeze in to clean the evap core.. it's gentle enough to avoid damage as long as you are gentle with it... jojo
  7. its all good.... that is what this site is here for... keep in touch... jojo
  8. I really havent ever replaced one unless the wires shook so much, that the insulation fell off.. of course, replacing it isn;t a bad idea. I'm still not clear, why you are changing parts.. what is the issue?
  9. I think it's the high pressure switch for the engine fan... the dryer switch is binary for the A/C .. are you having trouble with it? jojo
  10. the spacer means it's Jacob's...
  11. yes sir... one has Jake 690, and the other may be 'Powerleash'.. I'm curios too... If there wasn't an ECM.. this would be a breeze... jojo

  15. well, iv'e been tinkering.... I put new glass in him, (Sanford).. just pickin. at him.. no way in hell am I a finish work guy, but I got him running and when I get the brake's to work, I will drive it some more, in my neighborhood. I use the hand brake to stop it.. I will post pic's as I go.. I have the chrome strip's minus the 2 that say,,, 'International' for the hood... but,,, I bet I find a Pair,,,,, woop's.... that last one is what my wife say's.. jojo

  18. I told you way back. Oct. 5th.. jojo
  19. a 'jug cant handle the volume of fuel that will be pumped...
  20. any chance you have access to a banjo fitting that is the right size to fit the fuel pressure regulator on the front of the head?, if so, you can attach a clear hose to it that is long enough to go back to the filler cap and in the fuel tank, down into fuel, run the engine and see if there is air in the returned fuel. it will look like suds/ beer foam.. make sure the line is in the fuel so you can see the bubbles in the fuel. if you see a lot of air, darn good chance the injector cup o-rings have failed.. There really isnt any repair shortcut's for this issue. If you cut corners, you will just be 'pissin in the wind'... jojo
  21. cool lookin rig.. Sorry Bud, I'm out..., but curious... Jojo
