  1. you can remove it and reseal it, or give Vulva $600.00 for a single aluminum tank kit... jojo
  2. yes... remove the cup holder first, the the tray it sits in, then the 2 torx screws in the panel ,then the torx screws on each side edge of the panel, then it will drop down and out from the bottom. there is a plastic guide pin in the bottom center edge, to clear.. no biggie.. once it is off,, to the right will be the 3/4" opening where a blue filter may be.. thats were the action happens... I bet the core is packed with dirt... you can try to blow it out, but sh!t will fly everywhere... jojo
  3. have you pulled the duct on the right side of the of the HVAC unit and cleaned out the dirt that is in there... just remove the screws and and pry it back about an inch and a half. I made a cardboard tube that fits on my shop vac, and flattened it out so it can squeeze in to clean the evap core.. it's gentle enough to avoid damage as long as you are gentle with it... jojo
  4. its all good.... that is what this site is here for... keep in touch... jojo
  5. I really havent ever replaced one unless the wires shook so much, that the insulation fell off.. of course, replacing it isn;t a bad idea. I'm still not clear, why you are changing parts.. what is the issue?
  6. I think it's the high pressure switch for the engine fan... the dryer switch is binary for the A/C .. are you having trouble with it? jojo
  7. the spacer means it's Jacob's...
  8. yes sir... one has Jake 690, and the other may be 'Powerleash'.. I'm curios too... If there wasn't an ECM.. this would be a breeze... jojo
  9. Yep! Thought so, jojo

  11. You know I'm curious..... jojo
  12. well, iv'e been tinkering.... I put new glass in him, (Sanford).. just pickin. at him.. no way in hell am I a finish work guy, but I got him running and when I get the brake's to work, I will drive it some more, in my neighborhood. I use the hand brake to stop it.. I will post pic's as I go.. I have the chrome strip's minus the 2 that say,,, 'International' for the hood... but,,, I bet I find a Pair,,,,, woop's.... that last one is what my wife say's.. jojo
  13. here's a picture of my 'Really Big Mack' he's my buddy and when i'm on a creeper he is right there to sit on my chest and lick my face... his name is.... Mack...

  15. I told you way back. Oct. 5th.. jojo
  16. a 'jug cant handle the volume of fuel that will be pumped...
  17. any chance you have access to a banjo fitting that is the right size to fit the fuel pressure regulator on the front of the head?, if so, you can attach a clear hose to it that is long enough to go back to the filler cap and in the fuel tank, down into fuel, run the engine and see if there is air in the returned fuel. it will look like suds/ beer foam.. make sure the line is in the fuel so you can see the bubbles in the fuel. if you see a lot of air, darn good chance the injector cup o-rings have failed.. There really isnt any repair shortcut's for this issue. If you cut corners, you will just be 'pissin in the wind'... jojo
  18. cool lookin rig.. Sorry Bud, I'm out..., but curious... Jojo
  19. look up Moto-Mirror.... its doable. jojo
  20. were is the picture??? or model/year?
  21. the EGR valve may be bad, but it's been 2 weeks, and I believe my parts quote scared him away. my guess is they will hire a kid to do the wire harness, and when it gets to the point were the injector wires, and cam sensors need to plugged in, they will call me.. of course it will cost more because I will re-do the work. who knows. i may just stay away from it... jojo
  22. easy to see...cam sensor is at the right front near the breather. held in with an 8mm bolt. short harness, secured on the edge of the timing cover.... the crank sensor is at 8 o'clock on the flywheel housing... the cam sensor may have a teardrop shim behind it. just for kicks, take it out and put it in youre pocket.. put the sensor back in, then crank the engine and see if it runs better..

I worked in 3 Mack Dealer shop's and a couple private co's and 2 bigger co's that were 75% + Macks... so when the boss's saw that I could do the job's and didn't 'bitch' well..... guess who got the engine job's... no biggie, just my path.. I still want to learn more about the one's I know. Hell in a couple of the shop's I got all the tranny build's and rear end's too... ok, I'm rambling again... jojo
