  1. is this the little valve in the coolant filter housing? it looks like a lever.. If it's one i'm thinking of, I have a hook for my slide hammer to jerk it out of there then go back in with the new one once you look for debris like a piece of the old o-ring. to avoid draining the coolant, you can have a helper hold a shop -vac over the filler hole and apply suction to the tank. do not seal it to the tank, use youre hand to maintain a 1/2" space between the vac and the filler neck. when you pull the valve out, the vac will suck air into the hole rather than allow coolant to gush out. of course you will need to burp the system when its done.. just an option here,,, jojo

the steel pipe from the compressor tends to build up with carbon and blocks the flow.. i bet its restricted.. you may be able to take it out and throw it in the firepit and burn it out, or just replace it.. its expensive, and hopefully still available.. lately, common parts are a bitch to get... jojo

I know I just said I was out.... I was wondering if the after treatment ECU is trying to read the 2 differential pressure systems? EGR/DPF? How do you 'lie' to them so they think they are doing a good job? jojo

that screen looks like Premium Tech Tool... there are calibration tasks in the program, I dont know about deletes, but do you still have a DEF system? or is this an '09 before DEF? to calibrate the VGT. you have to remove the accuator and run a calibration then install it to the turbo... (B.S.) there is also a gauge to check/set the 1/4 gear into position.. jojo
  14. I drive an Isuzu NPR with a 16" box as my service truck. I love the maneuverability. However, I would love to have an MR with an E-7 or Early E-tech as my service truck.. It would be 'overbuilt' and that would suit me just fine..
  15. we used to be ''mechanic's" but now we are parts changer's... all in the name of "quality control" I get it.. but I really think it's about "Income control"... it's funny how a 15 year Indonesian kid can build a component better than we can.. anyway, just a little rant on my part... jojo
  16. there is a bunch of things that are sent out or just bought as a reman now.. jojo
  17. Robert Bosch 8100... I beleive... I really wish that I worked in the pump room 20+ years ago, it is my only regret, during my Mack years... jojo
  18. The RW I'm working on has an Ambach pump with the reversing relay and a Bimber valve.. I guess i'm robbing this thread for some knowledge, thanks again.. jojo
  19. I was curious about the boost pressure that was posted.. I didnt think they made much more than 32 psi, but my knowledge is more about E-7 and E-Tech... Jojo
  20. JoeH and Glenn... are you guys talking about the reversing relay screwed into the the intake manifold? I am working on a Superliner with an E-6 4valve, and I was wondering if I should replace the reversing relay.. I havent checked to see if I can get one yet... just curious, Jojo
  21. ok... just because.... is the throttle lever loose or slipped out of adjustment? jojo
  22. loosen 2-3 fuel lines at the head, and pump the hand primer until fuel comes out, wait for the air bubbles to stop. tighten the first line that bleeds, then pump again til another one bleeds, tighten it then go on to the next. (17mm or 19mm wrench) then fire it up !! jojo
  23. they need to be their own country..
