  2. if i remember right the torque limit switch is activated in first and reverse only, so that you dont break the driveline.. I dont have my book handy, but I think i'm close to right.. have you checked the grounds on the engine block, fierwall, and the frame?
  3. when you had the EUP's out, did you notice any cracks in the wires? they are proned to crack and rub againt the block. you can un hook the EUP wires, and un plug the EECU and check the EUP wires with DVOM for a short to ground on the block.
  4. does it do it when idleing? if so, does the RPM's go from 650 to 625 and back again? Hook a fuel pressure gauge to it and see if there is a pressure change when the miss happens.

  9. Mack engines cant be adjusted like a Cat or John Deere, for example,, Yes, you have to rotate the engine twice and follow the firing order as was stated earlier.. You got this... Jojo

  12. roll it back to 1&6... dont go passed it.. then look at #2 exh. rocker arm... if it is rocked, valve open, then you are up on #1.. if not,,, you are up on #6.. if so,, go around one more time to 1&6. then run the valves...

  14. Im still trying to remember a Mack with those king pins, because i remember using feel gauges to set the clearence at the top of the axle beam. That is what the round shim pack is for...
  15. Yes those pins, and yes, when they knock out the pin is now ready to remove.
  16. Paul sir,, you speak the truth. My question about this is the king pins are straight... I didnt think Mack used straight pins on his model..
  17. Do you have the locking pins in the center of the axle beam? There will be a nut on one end, and just a slightly round end on the other end.
  18. The nylon ones should not need reaming, just deburr the end you pressed them in on.

  22. yep definatley a great day. My Dad was in the hospitol for chest pains, I spoke to him today, he has a clean bill of health.. May have some minor muscle pain.. 76 and still going.. 🎆 ( that is a fireworks emogi,, I guess)
