  1. If Mack cant help, a skilled radiator shop should have all the lines and fittings to build what you need. Just drive it there for them to measure, and figure the angles..
  2. Is it not picking up fuel? If so, how about looking at the fuel delivery line. It may be breaking down inside and clogging the flow if fuel.
  3. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Hp5dDV9GsUexbP5d6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/RmhCReQ7KqsXSnXR9 I tried to post pictures. no-go.. anyway. There is a lot of info in the book. Not trying to swindle you, but if you want this book I will sell it to you for $60.00, which includes shipping. I have 3 0f them, along with a dozen other books on trannys and drive lines and rear ends.. and have been wanting to sell some of them off. P.M. your info if you want to buy the book. I can still try to post pictures, but not sure how it come out..
  4. my guess is that 3/4 + 7/8 are the same shift fork and therefore the same rail. There should be a detent in the rail that will activate the shuttle valve as you pass through neutral. I need to post pictures for you, from my book, as well as get the correct description of the parts im talking about.
  5. got it.. I figured it was called low instead of 1st. after you posted. I am at odds as to why it doesnt pre-select in all the low range gears. Can you put it in 8th and pre-select low range to see if it trys to shift into low range? you should be able to do this while stopped. Im leaning towards an issue with that shift rail, but still not clear. I have the Mack book for that tranny. I may try to look at it this afternoon.
  6. 🤕 ouch
  7. I want to see what a T-313 looks like..
  8. Can you post a picture of the shift pattern decal? I have rebuilt enough 2130/2180 tranny's to know a bit, But i am curious...

I have a Pro Set, but this may be good enough for you, and be a good addition to the tool box. There are many other choices....
  10. Some, on here have made pressure testers with PVC parts. If you do that, keep in mind that when you get near 10 psi, these home made tools can pop off with a vengeance. So build it smartly.
  11. Sounds like a worn detent for the shuttle. You say 4th. But over to the right and down is 5th. Before i go too big, what recent work was done to the trans, shift cover for example ?
  12. Fuel filters?
  13. Sounds like crap work to me..
  14. https://photos.app.goo.gl/zNRtiBM8w1gyo5Nv7 This is all i have. I know the cranks are the same, just hoped to have part numbers to show you..
  15. The plugs are already there on the factory cab harness. Are the tags on the other truck in better condition, so you can identify the correct plug ?
  16. Yes the thing on top. Gently Clip a vice grip on the input shaft, and unscrew it out if the housing.. the top cover will come with it.
  17. if you can knock that housing loose, you should be able to unscrew it out of the housing. It has the worm gear on it. also,,,,? on the sector shaft, is there a deep groove where the seal rides? very common... A machinist, can weld it up, and then turn it down to new. Not sure what you are trying to do at this point but there are options other than hunting for another steering gear. I'm curious what the Dog Pound say's..
  18. The bolt slots are stamped for front or rear. Use the hole related to the position, so that the angle is right
  19. When you move the pedal does the pin move with it or is it stuck in the yoke ? It looks like it moved a 1/4".
  20. New wine corks are synthetic, and wont crumble
  21. Got any wine corks to trim down and screw on the holes ?
  22. Do you have plugs for the ports to keep the cucka out ? I beleive they are 3/8 NPT threads.
  23. 60-80 psi. Definitely check that.
