  1. what about Elon ? what say u?
  2. you are correct about the red wire routing. just for kicks, on the black relay looking thing next to the relay.... remove the single wire and put it on the other post and re-test.. that black thing is called a ground breaker... it's a major elec. part.. if it fails, you have what you have now.
  3. I read this again, the heater fan thing is interesting, I know they draw a lot of amps. any chance you saw the alternator gauge when this issue happens? i'm curious if there was a major voltage drop, or even a spike..
  4. which one is the beast?
  5. if it has the type im thinking of, its under the cup holder, behind the switch panel.. I forget when they went from that type, to the cube type in the fuse area. there may be a vertical row of them to the left of the fuse panel.
  6. Wheres the FLD?
  7. I did a TRD 72 a couple years ago, and got my Gaskets from Trans-Axle in Concord/Charlotte N.C.
  8. One if the wires on the relay on the firewall is cab power. It is on the post with 2 other wires. I assume you checked the battery cables and ends. You say the cab goes dead.. so nothing, not even the radio, horn dash lights, ect. Works? Does it have the acc. relay in the top center behind the dash panel?
  9. Go Woke,,,, Go Broke !!
  10. are the gaskets leaking exhaust? if not, you can try to re-seal the lower studs. remove them and clean the threads, then put High temp RTV on them and re-install.. It's a slippery slope but, you can try it. Hopefully the nuts come off, or remove the nuts when the studs are out. They are m12x 1.75 thread, flange nuts.. the final torque is 100lbft, in 3 rounds, 25lbft, then 50lbft, then 100lbft.. I have had some luck doing this without removing the manifold and doing all 12, but like I said, slipery slope.. and hopefully the gaskets dont spring a leak.. one bad gaskets means the whole thing comes off.. oh,, the depth of the stud is about 3/4''...
  11. Pete, S.S. is a soft metal. PAI has decent studs for sale. What have you done to stop the leaks up til now? Yes the lower studs go into the push rod bore, and you can hit the push rods if you dont understand the set up.. Can you elaborate a bit more? jojo
  12. He's on the move guy's..... Git'r Done !!

  16. J.C. I am in total agreement with you.. These P.O.S.'s have made me become a cranky Man.. I have no interest in hearing their music, or seeing their movies. I know they have the same rights as we do, but they are so far out into outer space, they have no clue what regular hard working Americans do to survive... totaly out of touch with the real world.. They also support destroying us, they are sent here by Satan to 'F' us up..

  22. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Fi6VfdnPXK3URnSB7 Here is a picture of a 673 piston, you can see the oil holes for the oil ring, if the engine is upside down with oil in the pistons it will seep through these holes, Maybe drain the 15w40 out, flip it over, pull the pan, and put ATF or a 5w oil in each piston.. just a thought..
  23. J.C. I just saw your post.. Too funny.. jojo
