no sweat tjc,, I just take care of my stuff, if neglected I dont know how long it would last.. because of what it does, I make sure it is road ready.. all good.. and yes, if the genny part fails, the unit is done.. not worth fixing for sure..

my harbor freight 7500w runs and powers up great... starts 1-2 pulls, does what I need.. its 5 years old, and I trust it..

fjh,, You got there before me.. I was gonna sugest inspecting that sensor and wires, after he writes back... theres not a lot going on here as far as electronics.. do we know if any pump or timing adjustments were made before this issue?

have you tried to wiggle the plug at the injection pump when it's running, to see if it makes a change?
