    fjh,,, I am pokin my brain. I guess the cover can come out, the rails just go in and out of the case during gear selection... Gosh I'm rusty.. I really need to build another 107 just to get back in the groove.

    if you are just pulling the stick out, your good to go.. 4 bolts, and straight up and out,, as far as pulling the top cover,,,,,, well,,,,,, the shift rails go through the front and rear case's.. it's been many years since I had one apart, and they all were out of the truck.

    it looks like it is being used as an accessory relay.. there should be one in the cab under the ash tray too.. I wish I could help with a schematic. all I have is some old notes from some RW's I worked on. looks lie a lot of added wires as well as dissabled wires too.. I assume you are wanting to clean it up..

    I hope so.. N.C. law requires I.D. to be shown when using a debit card at the liquor store. Been that way for years. Just one of many examples...

    I had similar experience with Mazda 5 spd. I beleive it was an M5R2... The F-150 i was working on lost 5th. After 2 salvage yard trannys with the same issue, Ijust took the trannys back, and brought my tools with me. They let me pull the top covers off all the Mazda trannys they had... When i was done, i left with no tranny and a refund, and they said those trannys were going to the scrap pile.. i never did finish the job, the owner threw in the towel..

    you may be able to make up a fitting to attach to the banjo fitting port on the rear side of the head. I dont remember if there are any plugged ports in the heads fuel gallery..
