  1. Volvo did something with air ride on the front axle. Theres probably a break down of how its set up, i beleive the air bag is NOT over the axle, as GW states..
  2. If I didnt miss anything, the new engine is correct for the Granite.. 👍
  3. Possible, but i have replaced a few water pump housings due to cavitation.. i cant remember the details of the service bulletin.
  4. My dumb ass didnt even think to look at your profile to see that you have a Granite... Is the truck saveable? I think you posted something on this last year, ?
  5. https://photos.app.goo.gl/V5LneRDpj2p549V3A here is the same thing, I cant post pictures.
  6. https://photos.app.goo.gl/RdoBz6WVYyZ7MF1u9 I hope this is what you need. Jojo
  7. Some guys will re-post an old posting to get started..
  8. Im surprised there are still coins left over..
  9. I guess I can send you a text when the next one releases..👍🍻
  10. Dammit, Mackpro,,, i had to squint to see the double u-joints at the steering box.. CV-713 sounds right, ASET-IEGR as well..
  11. The E-TECH has a few more tests.. i suggested pulling the belts at first on a cold engine so that if you find it is not a compression leak, you can move on to other things. Puling belts is easier than changing the thermostat. Is the engine temp running at 180-185? Without issue ? Before i go into big work, i/we will try to keep it basic. This issue was a thorn in the side of the E-Tech, as well as us mechanics. What kind if shape is the air compressor in? In some cases, the compression issue was the compressor, which can be ruled out with a bypass hose or capping the coolant lines to the compressor, you can slowly flow water through the compressor head with a a garden hose if you think you need to extend run tome while testing. In this test , the belts will be back on so that the water pump will be in play.. i will post more as needed to respond.
  12. Take the belts off the water pump with the engine cold, and start the engine. Let it run a while to rule out a compression leak.
  13. Its in the first buletin he posted.. along with pressure testing the EGR cooler.
  14. Heinzy buddy... I do believe you got it right again.. 😁
  15. Oh boy..... The ole pushing cooling deal.... I suggest you go to the dealer portal and download the service buletin....
  16. Its a sweet looking truck... You did good again. I may come see it at Colfax next year, if you go again..
  17. I had to look a little closer at the blurry picture. I bet its a CHN or CXN. And yes,, ASET-CEGR engine.
  18. Ok. I can look later, i have a B-61 book..
  19. The old one is an E-tech. The new one is an ASET-IEGR i dont see the external EGR parts. The new one is a 2004-2006. The truck looks to be a CHN or CXN -613. It was hard to see the oil cooler in the picture, and the centrimax is later then an E-Tech.. i missed that
  20. So much winning... So much winning 😁
  21. 23 years in the making.. its sad..
  22. Maybe your name Redeyedog would give it away. I watched a movie called Red Dog, from your homeland.. 🍻
  23. Oh.. well sir, i didnt take in to consideration that you are outside if the U.S. please forgive me... I have zero experience on your truck, i would just be probing and testing the switches to understand which one does what. Jojo
  24. GW is the man for the job.. pay attention.
