  1. I forgot to add, that the left and right part I just posted was for the s-cams, and the part I left out is for how the slack adjusters ratchet, (self adjusters) they will not work correctly on the opposite sides. sorry, I was typing so fast I passed my brain in turn 2 heading for the straight away..
  2. that is why i was asking other questions....... there is... if you put them on the wrong side it will knoock the rollers out of the shoes if it goes too far.. so yes, to left and right. if you notice the positiion of the brake chambers is different. front drive (front of the axel), rear drive (rear of the axel)...
  3. too high !! do you have a truck parts store in your area.. the slacks are 28 spline and likely 5 1/2'' inches on center. measure from the center of the s-cam to the center of the clevis pin where the yoke is hooked to the slackadjuster. that is the length the parts store will ask for.
  4. Hippy, there is a 7th job that Kommiela has experience in... She used to blow up ballons, I mean.....
  5. Keystone Cop's I presume?? Love it..
  6. ok, I was reaching out, to see if the wrong slacks were installed .. sorry bud, i'm really interested in this, but I am not there.. I know the others feel the same way.
  7. https://photos.app.goo.gl/APC18ZVxfMgy7pMc7 Here are 2 of the essential must have tools, for Mack rears. Of course, I have never built them without these tools... Let me know if the link works.. Jojo
  8. does this truck have camelback suspension? where the s-cams replaced recently?
  9. I can try to post them later.
  10. Real Americas Voice.. Brocky
  11. just a side note here... I dont have ''pay for t.v.'' just an antenna and internet.. I dont get Fox or Newsmax, but I do get Real America's Voice, and I love it.. I used to watch Newsmax, but they went to the 'pay for' broadcasters. I love them too, but wont pay $100.00+ / month to watch 2 channels.. anyway, I am greatful for R.A.V.
  12. that is what I expect and afraid of... He is in Flint M.I. right now.. I'm watching him on R.A.V.
  13. these 2 little shit shows are nothing, just entertains the weak minded.. They are going to KILL him..
  14. deffinately look at whos preparing anything for him...
  15. I want to respond,,,, but I don't have a good response... As A ''Working Man'' and not old, (55) I see under 35's, weak as water, and have absolutely no ''give-a-damn''.. I guess I did say something...
  16. they are a MUST HAVE. the caging tool for the bull gear bearings for example, the power divider holding tool, is another one. and then ther is the ability to torque the input shaft to 1500 lbft. I miss building these. its been a long time now, but if I ever found the tools at auction, i would buy them.. I used to build Mack rears, trannys and engines when I worked for Mack at 2 dealerships. Anyway, good luck bud, and keep in touch.. Jojo
  17. another thing about the 200 series, is that the spur shaft housing in the 200 is a one piece design. So if you are doing a repair that requires the spur shaft housing to come out, you have to pull the bull gear.. Mack rears require some very expensive essential tools..
  18. Yep, the bull gear is also wider in the 200 series..
  19. Injection pump timing...
  20. NIce !!! thats great Hippy,, what a great coincedence
  21. did you check the HVAC controls in the cab, and the thermostat in the condesor core? What chassis?
  22. AMEN !! I vote for what is best for our country, not ME... I can adapt, the Dem's have taught me well..
  23. I bet he wanted to see if the air was backfeeding through a bad brake chamber diaphragm.
  24. treadle valve is likely done.. does the truck have a trolley brake?
