  1. Amen !! I have a decent set of stemco and CR seal drivers for wheel seals including the wear sleeve driver for stemco's.. I can install either brand with confidence. definately stick with what has worked for years.. thanks GW..
  2. i bet the wires are wrapped in that hard plastic woven loom. If there is good power coming from the dimmer switch, I bet there is a bad wire or 2 in the loom. probably nice and green.. does the harness run by the steering box and go to the left hood hinge area?
  3. the wires are coming from the terminal strip on the firewall left of the steering shaft. they are 14 or 15 pin strips.
  4. dont you have terminal strips under the hood for the lights and the horn?
  5. sorry bud,, I have had an issue with pics for months..
  6. bad dimmer switch? are the wires inside of a plug or just have female blade connectors on them and plugged into the dimmer?
  7. so who makes National seals.. to me they are just orange colored CR seals.. with the same part number in some case's, Ie: 370025A and 380025A..
  8. GW. I didnt research why the B Models I worked on had the inner seal, I just know that a good stemco seal on the inside did the trick. It modernized the ole; B-61.. and yes, when I replaced the rear wheel cyls in my ]48 KB-7, I used a modern wheel seal..
  9. are you asking about the terminal strips on the firewall by the steering column? I have never worked on what you have.. just curious.
  10. 👍

  14. I say... All Good.. Biden is dead, I mean,,, not running the country anymore, I mean,,, O'bama has a new puppet.. I guess this thread can be called.. ''The Best of O'Bama''.
  15. Bob, my answer to unwanted visitors, was a remote control driveway gate. I made it myself out of Lowe's chain link fence parts from the garden center.. It is NOT pretty, but it has been drawing a line for 8 years now. I have an electric gate operator that works just fine.. If I happen to se the God Squad ( nothing against Christians),,park on my street, I watch them walk up and down my road to see how to get to my door bell.. It's funny.. I have 400 + feet of frontage all fenced in..
  16. 🤣
  17. Pheww... I thought you .... Well,, you know? Good to see you Bob..
  18. how far are they moving? maybe they need to adjusted correctly. Unless you have done that already, if so... re-check adjustment..
  19. what style of brake shoe does it have? if there is a pivot pin for the shoes, they could be siezed..
  20. Interesting, Vlad.. I'm curious too.. I did wheel end work on a B-61, and was able to find a good rear most axle seal, and removed the seal in the middle of the hub. This was on a working dump truck, that runs 4-6 days a week by one driver, ''the owner''... no leaks or other issues.
  21. Bottle hauler,, not tryin to bust your Ball$, but its too is an old post. Do you want to start your own thread? It will get better resullts.. I have books on your engine, and can post Mack spec sheets for you, if that will help.. I suggest a new thread.. Jojo
  22. it would be worth the extra time to cap the oil line and put the fuelines back on to run it, this way you can see what each cylinder is doing and hear what they say..
  23. Gosh, I hope you dodged a bullet.. can you cap the oil feed line for the turbo and put the fuel lines on and run it with manifold off and watch each port?
  24. I guess you re-used the cam and crank sensors? the crank sensor (RPM-TDC) harness can be damaged easily, causing a bad connection.. JoeH is right.
