  1. Mech, I am quite sure as you read these posts, you shake your head and say "what the hell it this crap".. I find myself doing it, and I dont have as many years in, as you do.. I wish I did more with e-6 and older engines, as well as the trucks they were in, but I came around too late.. Jojo

  13. when I was a pumpkin driver, the last truck I had was an old western auto parts, Int. cab over. cummins / 9 spd. not governed.. it was a 75 mph truck... however, it has a 24'' sleeper and a dog house.. i used to kick the shifter when I changed my pants in the cab.. too funny.. anyway, i think they called it a ''coffin'' sleeper.. dunno... (1999) jojo

  15. is the oil sendor line to the gauge clogged? may need to un do it and pull the throttle stop and crank the engine while the gauge line is in a catch can..
  16. that seems good for an older engine. heck 17+(low idle) on some E-7's that are at work all the time was common.. I say... leave it alone.. I also look forward to other opinions, and I may learn something .. jojo

  19. Dumb Me..... I see the outline of the cab where the hood comes down.. R model it is..
  20. That is the starter relay, the ground breaker is all black and looks like the starter relay. Look on the fire below the center of the windshields. Is this truck a CH or CX?
  21. Not sure for the front ones.. I wouldn't mind knowing. Sorry, Jojo
  22. Batteries, the block ground in the picture, the ground breaker on the firewall (I have replaced these a few times), the ground behind the instrument cluster, the ground next to the fuse panel, the starter,
  23. What is the condition of the engine harness? I read this back to last year, and didn't see where you checked all the grounds. I like the procedure for a 9-2 code. It points towards the grounds..
