  1. It's Barry's Birthday today.. I hope you have a great day. Thanks for all you do here at BMT.. Jojo
  2. No, you can make up new coolant lines. Don't think you need to mess with the discharge line unless it's rigid..
  3. lots of oil... for sure..
  4. yes but what is it connected too? I have seen that as an air fan line and on AC's its for the air filter for the VGT.. I'm just curious...
  5. Hmmm I wonder what that pressure protection valve is tied too? as far as the compressor, what is on there now? Wabco single cyl.?
  6. thats the air line for the engine fan. but i dont see the knob to shut off the air supply.. also see some oil on the relief port.. is your compressor worn out?
  7. The studs bolt in, and the drums are not inboard drums? I guess I'm trying to picture them. I'm sure I've handled these before, seems I took the drum and hub off as an assembly. If you had a picture of one, I could go to my parts house and see what he stocks.
  8. Happy Birthday Rowdy Rebel !!! 🎉
  9. I hate you too...
  10. fall of the bone, and still tender and juicy.. and fully cooked.. I guess my redneck smoker works..
  11. I made my own sauce and put them in the oven on warm, till we are ready to chow..
  12. there are a few of us that know how to get this done... glad to see your still kick'n Mech.. Jojo
  13. should be right hand threads on the right and left hand threads on the left..
  14. Looks good to me.. I did make a brine last night and soaked the 1/4's.. picklin salt,, orange juice,, garlic powder,, onion powder,, 4 chicken cubes melted,, i boiled a tea pot of water and poured it into the big pot and mixed it all together.. then put the 1/4's in.. to soak... actually smelled good this morning.
  15. I wonder if a thread about ''Grilling/smoking'' would get a few guys showing off their skills?
  16. thats great... I too have 4 grills. one is used as an oven, one is just for grilling, the other is a flat top, and of course the smoker. well I put the chicken on a little too early, but these quarters need to cook a while. They are vainy and bloody inside before cooking. My wife wont eat them if they are cooked but dont look it. I covered them with foil and letting the fire die down and slowly simmer them. they should fall apart like BBQ when done. suits me just fine, and she will eat it.. she made southern style slaw to go with it. I may make Mac-n-Cheese from scratch . she loves it.
  17. Other Dog, this one is for you.. I told you a while ago that You inspired me to smoke some Yummie goodness.. I'm trying something. my wife doesnt like skin on chicken, so i pulled the skin and saved it. then i smoked these 1/4's till they got a good color then I covered them with the skin to keep them from drying out.. i expect them to be Yummie.. Have you ever done this with chicken, if so, how did it come out? Hoping for a good game today, Jojo
  18. Perfect !!! thanks Tom..
  19. Have you had any good luck with the brake cylinder?
  20. I bet they didnt dump Dr. Jill's undies on the floor either...
  21. I laughed so much,,, I pee'd a little....
  22. yep... nice to see you again... Pokey...
  23. mech.. look at these fittings i use.. you need 2 wrenches to put them together.. easy breezy.. they have been around since back when you came here on the Santa Maria... just sayin'. luv u bud.. jojo
  24. your too kind Mark.. Do you think $5,000.00 for labor is low? I'm just curious. These builds cost between 10-20 K depending on customer request and re-using good parts. Of course I want to install a fresh turbo, oil pump (unless it passes my inspection) water pump, nozzles, oil cooler, air compressor, and have the heads done.. I cant machine the heads or do valve guides, but I can lap valves (water test them) and install new seals..
