  1. Im really weak when it comes to programming H.P. however, mechanically, the cam key is offset, with the white end facing out, i have put steel lifters in place of the ceramic lifters. As far as turbo and nozzles, i think turbo is the same, and nozzles are different.
  2. I just like to see and hear any good engine rebuild.. However, I repect the passion for specific engines.
  3. I use ''Mypowermanuals .com'' I have bought a bunch of downloads and put them on 2 C.D.'s and in my shop laptop.. I even have one for the E-9..
  4. Sounds good and looks like the valves were dancin good and smooth..
  5. The base program will run the truck. We used to swap ECM's often to try to diagnose issues. Make sure the key is off.
  6. Not crazy at all. I put a finger on the lines and can feel the pulsing..
  7. the lightning bolt needs to be on to retrieve the codes with the cruise buttons..
  8. not always a code right away, but a 9-2 code is a bad ground code... its called ''power reset without the key'' as if the batteries were unhooked while it was running or cranking.. my point is... if you use that buletin and check all the grounds, it fix this issue.. I never tell someone to replace EUP's wire hareness, or ECM's, because in my experience it's been a bad wire, or connection.. it sucks to spend 5 G's on nothing..
  9. so there werent any 8-? codes????
  10. they should have known to tell you what i said.... just sayin...
  11. if i remember right the torque limit switch is activated in first and reverse only, so that you dont break the driveline.. I dont have my book handy, but I think i'm close to right.. have you checked the grounds on the engine block, fierwall, and the frame?
  12. when you had the EUP's out, did you notice any cracks in the wires? they are proned to crack and rub againt the block. you can un hook the EUP wires, and un plug the EECU and check the EUP wires with DVOM for a short to ground on the block.
  13. does it do it when idleing? if so, does the RPM's go from 650 to 625 and back again? Hook a fuel pressure gauge to it and see if there is a pressure change when the miss happens.
  14. Yep I saw that one, well if you want to post a longer vid of it now that you got the valves right, it would be pretty cool.. I'm proud for you..
  15. did you post a video of it running? I really glad you took the advice/instrution.. this Web Site is a great resource..
  16. that makes sense Terry, he did say Meritor at one point.
  17. Bingo !! Now if you do this to an ASET with powerleash... STOP !! and come back here for the procedure.. your doing fine... Jojo
  18. Mack engines cant be adjusted like a Cat or John Deere, for example,, Yes, you have to rotate the engine twice and follow the firing order as was stated earlier.. You got this... Jojo
  19. 🤣
  20. thats it GW.. I just like to ask guys to start on #1...
  21. it's funny how the left coast lib's with their electric cars and tofu meat , and semen salad dressing. is experiencing extreme heat in the summer... No SH!T ... it's summer time,,, also,,, just because you think you are saving the planet with your E.V.'s.. your an idiot,,, We have what's called,,, WIND.. and it can move polutants around the globe.. oh yeah,, the earth rotates on an axis and revolves around the sun... kinda hard to change it's course... unless of course if you are Superman... How dumb am I ?? really, let me know...
  22. roll it back to 1&6... dont go passed it.. then look at #2 exh. rocker arm... if it is rocked, valve open, then you are up on #1.. if not,,, you are up on #6.. if so,, go around one more time to 1&6. then run the valves...
