  1. I feel the same way. This is much bigger than some 19 year old on the roof.. they also creamated the kid, 10 days after... So why so quick, and for what ? And then Cornpop drops out, and a new Queen is appointed, and now all the high powered libs are coming out of the woodwork.. i watched a bit of the DNC, but it was unorganized, and ran late for me. I get up at 5:30 to go to work. I guess they are catering to young people who are up all night smokin weed.. anyway, i can go on and on..
  2. I hoped you would find this one.. B.T.W. Live stock counts too.. I figure you have a few..

  5. Mech? is it the same as an MH? I remember doing shift tower bushing replacements and u-joints.. I think I still know how to do it today.. been a while..
  6. as far as oiling the shift tower,,,, It is splash lubed by the spinning gear sets.. are the ujoints in the shifter shaft sloppy? a little slop goes a long way.. my guess is there is 2 close to the tower on the tranny?
  7. is there a panel on the passanger that has fuses behind it? also, does it have the accesory relay under the ashtray inside the center of the dash? I dont know how Aussie trucks are built, just picturing a U.S. truck looking in the mirror..
  8. did you take the housing off? if not it takes patience, start one poin then work around left and right a bit, then go opposite and tap it in while keeping a hand on the seated portion. or.... stop, remove the seal and get a pc. of PVC pipe to make a driver... I have tapped many of them in with the small dead blow, so many I can use a metal hammer and gently seat it.. You'll be ok..
  9. perfect,, hope I have the solution for you.
  10. No, based on your experience.. (with respect) hopefully the seal has the flange that seats on the outside of the seal housing, ask for that one.. you do a good job of cleaning the area for the seal. and you can gently tap around it with a small dead blow hammer to seat it.. you can put a very thin bead of RTV on the leading edge of the seal to acta as a lube as well as a seal... DO NOT use so much that it gets into the seal lips.. once you seat it flush, it's done.. light oil lube on the yoke so it slids into the seal good, then torque the yoke down.. 550 lbft... If you choose to pull the seal housing, that's fine. the bearing will be exposed but wont drop on the floor. you will need the gasket.. once again,, DO NOT use a lot of RTV. just a light kiss on the gasket, too much will break the gasket... now installing the seal will require you to hold the housing down so you can install the seal.. a flat clean metal table gets it done. If you have an arbor pres you can gingerly drift the seal in place by hand... easy breezy... so you decide, now..
  11. T-2180.... the output parts are common on many if not all 200's.. Ok Hienz,,,, do your thing.. Jojo

  16. the clutch brake is only used when stopped and you select the next ger to go,, forward or backwards.. Paul is so smart.. but who am I to judge,, I look up to Paul.. Mack transmissions shift slower than Eatonas Paul said,, I do a count in my head with the Mack trans,... ''1-1,000-nuetral-2-1,000 shift.. and so-on.. if can catch my drift.. I love these post's...
  17. cutting ubolts on relaxed spring packs is a procedure.. Respect you at 60.. i'm only 55+ and my body is broken from truck repair.. My Brain knows what to do, but my knees, and lower back tell me to shut the 'F' up !!!
  18. Mech, was for sure talking about after you load at the pit, make a sharp turn in the pit, lock it down and get out and look.. I know you arent doing the work, but the more you know about the issue you have, the better you can be served by the repairman.. Mech 'IS' a repairman... your in the right place Vinny..
  19. Sounds right to me.. Mech...
  20. Washer # 297KB220... Bolt # 3AX 1803 https://photos.app.goo.gl/LcebgPb6CE2u56bp6
  21. bolt # is 3AX 1803,, cant remember the washer, I guess it is the 2'' diam. by about 7/8'' thick. I am going out to my parts pile to see if I can get a part number for the washer.
  22. Vinny .. Meet mechohaulic.. Mech, i think his truck was NOT speced with transverse torque rods, so 'twist' controll is up to the saddles and bolster boxes.. I never could understand why those torque arms werent install on ALL vocational and off road trucks... grocery getters need not apply..
  23. yep, its moving.. do both sides do the same thing?
