  1. I have no way of knowing. I never paid attention to mileage on shoes. Using the engine brakes and gearing down help save the shoes.
  2. Those are some low numbers. Shes near New for an old girl..
  3. Do you have pics of the shoes? Modern shoes are nearly 25 mm thick in the middle and thinner on the ends. Mabey 12mm. Im guessing, but i bet im close.. what is the shoe number? 4515 or 4707QP ?? On the drives.? If so, them im about right..
  4. Its tough when the tank is hidden with the body down. I have over filled them a few times and made a mess. I like what tjc suggests.
  5. Happy Birthday to 'alex g'. Havent seen him here for a while. 🍰🎉
  6. What goes on in the minds of these types of people... This is bigger than just Cracker Barrel.. Just leave things alone,, if no one is getting hurt, leave it alone.. Im waiting for Racism to be the reason on this stupid change. Rebranding my A$$....
  7. I dont have a bench jig. The shops i worked at had them. This pump was rebuilt and bagged up till today when i took pictures. If it is benched timed by the rebuilder, then i guess i need to back the engine up 30+ degrees and bring it around till the coupler matches up.. Yes or no ? Then flow time it like fjh said..
  8. The plug with the big slot ? That makes sense.. thanks mech,
  9. That's why I asked questions.. i dont know what im doing with this pump. I have set a few Robert Bosch pumps on the bench jig to set the pump before install. But this one is new to me. I do have a special tool box that a freind helped me fill with good home made tools. I will bring it out tomorrow. 🍻
  10. Thank you. I wish i had done these decades ago, but only watched Earl do it..
  11. Is that a bench priming procedure? Then mount it to the engine at the books setting then recheck it by rotating the engine back to the timing mark?
  12. Perfect. Sleep on it.. it will be obvious tomorrow.. just sayin'.
  13. Did centering the sector shaft to the worm gear not get you in the right spot ? Just curious.
  14. Was there not an arrow stamped in the smooth end of the sector shaft, and a dot stamped on the pitman arm ?
  15. Have you considered taking a good sample to a paint shop or Oriellys to get it scanned for a match? Can you drive it to them ?
  16. I'm almost done with an ENDT -673. I have the engine set on #1 at Zero degrees. I do have the correct manual, but this time I am asking those of you who have done it to give me some pointers. Will i need a high pressure pump to push fuel through the inj. Pump ? I will post pictures of the pump soon. I am trying to figure that out without posting links. Jojo
  17. mech, I believe you told him to remove that section and check it.. just sayin' 🍻
  18. the only thing about the new cracker barrel Person, is that the pink and blue hair as well as a face full of fishing tackle, is missing.
  19. Ok.. im sorry. Im wrong about the diaphragm.. I guess all those times i was isolating a bad brake chamber was in error.. I will back out if this thread so as not to post incorrect statements.
  20. Is that big line the supply, and the top one is the signal line ?
  21. It seems to me he needs to chock the wheels air up the truck, release the brakes and pinch the drive axle service lines at each maxi to see if he has a bleedback going on. The maxi that stops the leak will have a bad diaphragm.
  22. The valve in the link you posted is what i meant. His picture is not detailed enough, need to see other angles
