  1. Just watchin Charlotte news.. They were talking about "Heat Maps".. Must be a Biden Klan thing.. anyway, the young female, ( yes I said it), stated that the hotter areas are those that the underserved community lives in, mainly minorities.. the the person said that it is partly based on the building materials of the homes,,, blah blah blah... So now the Sun is racist. Its people like this that vote for Biden types.. What a waste..
  2. its real oil, I just bought 2 cases, you can also use anti seize if you get the oil
  3. When my wife and I worked together at a Mack service dealer, sometimes she would help me. She has done a couple sets of cam bushings with me, during an in-frame. Then Top Brass said that she cant do that anymore, it makes the other guys look bad.. Oh well, it was kinda cool to have my wife help me..
  4. when I retire, there wont be anyone left that wants to learn how to fix something that might get them dirty, mess their hair and or break a nail... Have you seen todays ''Male's'' ??
  5. The 15 codes is the max limit for that system. It will always have them as long as its deleted, from what i have learned in the shop and here... Volvo has your truck by the Peanuts...
  6. ok, but you may only have the one that you know of, the other is easy to see if its there or not, if you pull a wire off the pedal switch do the lights go out? if you put a new air switch in that is 'Normally Closed' the brake lights will stay on all the time and go out when air pressure comes up to full.
  7. the brake light switch is on the firewall under the hood at the rear valve cover.. It is ''Hot'' all the time, key on or off.. or on the treadle valve.
  8. I guess he could hook a jumper cable to neg. On the batteries and then on the frame.. simple Free test.. tough to diagnose from 600 miles away..
  9. FJH? What about the fused link in the battery box?
  10. M Drive transmission? P.T.O. ? Any fault codes ?

  12. the one wuth the red boot hose that has the 'S' shape needs a cap welded to that end..to plug off the flow..
  13. the one going over the top withe the 2 piece clamp is the one im talking about..
  14. the telephone pipe is the one with the bellows made in it, at the EGR cooler.. the curvy pipe fromt the EGR cooler to the top of the intake snorkle is the one that needs a welded plug.
  15. dont take the telephone pipe off.. it has orings that will break
  16. the stainless steel pipe that goes over the rear valve cover..it has 2 probes in it.. weld a plug dont put anything that can come loose and get sucked into the intake..
  17. ok,, the pipe with the 2 sensors in it going over the valve cover feeds exhaust into the intake, I gues you nees to weld a cap on the EGR cooler end to stop exh flow into the intake..
  18. this may sound silly,, but I wish there was a big truck junk yard near me so I could just walk around and look at trucks to help me remember the things that slip my mind.. I can tell that I am losing the quick reflex of answering questions on here. and I used to rattle this stuff off in an instant.. Oh Well,,, Jojo
  19. Ooops,, I forgot the torque routine,, 25 lbft,, then 50 lbft, then finish at 100 lbft.....
  20. yes they are 12MM studs. PAI has a kit and the gaskets, felpro makes the gaskets.. be sure to put high temp sealant on the threads for the bottom studs. Those holes are live right in to the pushrod bore.. also, pay attention to how deep you go with them. You may hit the push rod, E-7's have thinner push rods than E-Techs, but just get an understanding of what you have.. Jojo
  21. I have one of those small ones. It was on a rookie rod, on a 78 DM i used to drive..
