  3. Bob,, this thread has helped me get it in gear.. I have been picking/working on my '48 INT.. I'm taking parts off the engine and sand blasting and painting them. As you can see, I still have more covers to remove and blast/paint........ I have to make my own gaskets. I found a full gasket kit, but it was $800.00.... Anyway, thanks for the inspiration..
  4. Sounds good. my guess is the trans in still in the truck. A fixed gear for sure, however , all the counter shaft gears are pressed on, so any move of the gear is already an issue. I will go try to find my book for the spec..
  5. I think its .003'' - .005''............. I will try to find my TRD72 book.. Hell, I just built one a year and a half ago..
  6. Vlad... I have had the pleasure of meeting 5 BMT brothers, 3 at one truck show.. I figured they would be as cool and friendly in person, as they are here at BMT.. I was right ! Sometimes I feel like it may be a 'Divine Meeting' here at BMT.. I know for me it is.. Jojo
  7. I forgot that I printed this. I hope you can get some needed info. as far as casting numbers goes, I'm with paul.. i just put 2 heads on an ENDT 673. I pulled them from a parted oout B-Model.. Everything looked right to me.. Jojo
  8. I wonder if it is on the firewall, in the center behind the valve cover, like it is on later models ?
  9. Ok.. I found the part.. it's $140.00, 3 buss. Days out, and then I would have to send it to you.. let me know if my way is the quickest.. and you want me to help you. Jojo

  17. Where are you located? I have a Mack dealer 7 miles from me. maybe I can get one and send it to you? that is if your dealer has a long wait time.. My dealer is closed on weekends.. I can call tomorrow and see if they have one on the shelf.. Jojo
  18. I know,, I'm sorry again.. That B.S. is one of the reasons I left the dealership world.. They lost a Proud Mack Guy.. oh well...
  19. did you locate the regulator? maybe send a picture if you arent sure..
  20. it may, but is a new issue that needs to be dealt with.. ''Fix what you know is broke''..
  21. Sorry about the small gauge, but glad you checked again.. The new regulator may be 80 PSI.. Thats ok.. when you remove the old regulator, the fuel galleries will drain. You will need to prime the hand pump to build up pressure. It may take a few extra seconds to start. Please do not use ether...... Jojo
  22. ok, if you are confident in the gauge, then you need to check the regulator.. really, I dont take them apart, i replace them..
  23. it is below #4, it may be silver in color, it's 45 degrees. It also may have the small 5/16'' return line atached as well.. that is the return port and it is the regulator..
  24. PSI ??? That cant be right.. it should have blown out the EUP o-rings and put fuel in the oil... Way too high.. re-check, if it is not between 60-80 PSI,, remove the regulator and inspect it..
