  1. did you bet in the pool?? In Rangeley, ME.. we could buy square's in May for when ''Ice Out'' was called on Rangeley lake.. Just sayin'
  2. i understand your point.. its a good one.. it would just be great to see re-payment at some time in the near future.. yes, we have to open the port to keep supplies moving. I just wish that other countries that owe us would be ready NOW, to help us.. much like our country is always ready to help others.. I'm not a smart person, I just see it as the same as doing honest trading locally, and thinking it should be global.. with respect, jojo
  3. yes, but he can quickly finance Ukraine and Isreal.. sorry bud... The U.S. of A comes first.. it's time to collect...
  4. Job creation to cleanup the bridge wreck ????? and saying that WE will pay for ???? what the hell is this guy doing ?? the ship's company needs to pay every penny for the damage and to the families of the dead !!! It is too much for my small dumb brain to understand....
  5. Yep,, I too have repaired poor throttle performance on some RD's due to worn linkages and the little bearings at the linkage mounts..
  6. I found wheel cylinders last year for my '48 INT.
  7. See that Mech?? your oldness is good for something that is a great thought that the movement of the cab may be affecting the throttle. like on an 'R' model where the throttle rod is mounted to the firewall.. With Love.... Jojo
  8. yes Mech,, you are correct.. every time I build any engine,, he is behind me , watching me, and talks to me through me, when I stop and say, that doesnt look right.. Jojo
  9. really Mech, If I did do a rope or lead seal, Earl, was holding my hand.. He was my Mentor.. My Mack Dad.. He raised me on Mack's 23 years ago.. He is Home now, but he will never leave my heart... Jojo
  10. that engine has a cast iron flywheel housing with a seperate seal housing. the flywheel housing is checked for 'run-out', and locked down, the seal housing is seperate, and the the seal is installed, older seal housings used a lead seal that was massaged in to place, I have never replaced those..
  11. yep,, now your getting closer. do you have another truck that you can swap pedals with.. it may have a dead spot where you may normally cruise at... in the TPS...
  12. The tool that you have will press the wear ring on. I put a thin coat of RTV on the leading edge of the crank. The ring will push the RTV on and seal the ring to the crank. Then use a lint free rag on a screwdriver to wipe out the excess RTV.
  13. Guys,,,,, Donald Trumps climate change policy is what caused the wreck. Dont you watch cnn ?
  14. i assume V-Mac II. cruise is attached to the clutch switch just like the engine brake, I guess I am assuming engine brake here.. how is the condition of the wire harness at the injection pump, on the engine side of the harness? loose pins and of course frayed wires can cause this.. if the duetch connector is not secured in its yoke, it will shake and loosen up. Pictures always help when we try to guide someone to the repair.. jojo
  15. Just wondering if you have a sticky engine brake celenoid or plunger
  16. Does it have engine brakes ?
  17. I remeber the tool with the 4 clips on the side of the installer.. the one i have bolts to the flywheel and comes with spacers for E-6 and E-7. I think i paid $375.00 for it..
  18. Was it doing this before the pump and nozzles ?
  19. Yes fjh, i have a rear main seal tool for Mack's. And a few other engines..
  20. or your cell phone.. I have never backed to a paver, but my wife has, quite a few times....
  21. That is a great picture, just out there in the woods paving a road. A classic 'R' Model doing what Big Dog's do... Jojo
