Joey Mack's post in 2000 RD 690S EM7-300 Starts, Idle's then shutdowns along with non-working guages. was marked as the answer
one thing you can do is use your DVOM, and find a good ground on the cab, and check for continuity on all the pins in the J-3 plug.. that may point you towards a short to ground.. are you familiar with how to read the wire codes on the white wires? It is actually easy to do, and really helps when you are checking the wires at a distance from the VECU.. jojo

Joey Mack's post in fuel pump oil line? was marked as the answer
It can work, but it is not as flexible, so directing it around corners or bending may be a small challenge.. I doubt it is passing through a narrow area where the larger diameter is a concern.. jojo

Joey Mack's post in 99 E7 350 Oil pan leak or silastic seal leak? was marked as the answer
Ok.. it is very common for oil to leak/weep between the block and flywheel housing.. a lot of work to fix a minor issue.. the rubber gasket is to be installed dry, however, a small amount of Mack Gray RTV is applied at the seams where the flywheel housing mates up, and the front cover mates up. 4 points.. new bolt insulators are a must.. PAI sells a nice pan gasket set.. the E-Tech pan gasket is very good.. Good luck with your RD,, you are in the right place for info.. Jojo

Joey Mack's post in Brake chamber size. was marked as the answer
I have installed many 30/30's on R models.. the push rod length fall's between 4 1/4" - 4 1/2" on the Mack rear's.. but don't take my measurement as creed,, do your measurement, the 30/30 is a close fit.. I hope a few others chime in with their knowledge, just so you get a full scope.. jojo

Joey Mack's post in Wipers was marked as the answer
did you hook the plug to the wiper motor, and cycle it with the switch to let it do a full sweep and then stop?? before you hooked up? then you leave the wiper arms off, and do it again before you put the arms back on.... my question is redundant, because I dont know where you got the wiper motor.. jojo
