  1. let me clarify: also i only had the top front bearing on fall out,not all of them.
  2. thanks rhasler when i was under there i looked at all that and the pins were still good.i think something is wrong with the crankshaft because when i put the bearings back in, the front thrust bearings were loose and the back were tight.could it be that the crankshaft isn't spaced properly.
  3. does anyone know how i could go about fixing this
  4. because once i started the engine after i put everything back together i heard a clink and i think that was the bearing coming back out again
  5. i did the same thing,the only thing different with mine was when i put them bach in they fell out again
  6. hey guys when i took the belly pan off my end 673 mack one of the thrust bearings was in it. i was wondering if someone could please give me reasons of how this could happen. mackb.bmp

  8. ok thanks,i wasnt sure if it was the same as the connecting rod bolts,and also i dont have a manual,if someone could post the tourque specs that would be great

  10. i apprieciate the help guys,i didnt state this before but the thrust bearing that came off was the top one,and im preety sure that there is no pin on the top,how could the top one of come off

  12. ok i think i have a problem,when i took the oil pan off of the truck to do the connecting rod bearings,one of the brass thrust bearings came off and was sitting in the oil pan.can someone tell me how this could happen and how i can fix it

  16. hey guys my b model sprung a leak in the passenger side tank and im not interested in buying a tank yet,(im gonna see if i can get the original one fixed),but the tank is a 40 gallon square tank,i was wondering if anyone in jersey had one that they would sell if i need one

  18. false alarm after all it wasnt the front seal,after i pulled the radiator out i started the truck and noticed that there was only a oil line leaking on to the pulley, i changed the hose and the truck is good as new
  19. why isnt there a b model cab on that truck
