  1. Some more photos of tymack's glorious EE added to this thread, E fans - http://www.bigmacktr...e-brake-system/
  2. Truly superb, tymack. Just amazing. Her VIN should be on a tag on the passenger's seat. If she's missing that (doubt it going by the rest of her!) it should be stamped into the right-hand chassis rail behind the rear spring hanger (or in that general area). I get excited by a lot of trucks but this one truly warms my heart. Magic stuff. She does look good in her working clothes.
  3. Stunning work. Worth every penny but way out of my league. Where's that lottery ticket?
  4. Hi Bob I'm afraid it's on the other side of the country from where I now live. It wasn't my truck just one I stumbled upon when living in Perth (west coast). A mate of mine went to look at her to buy but ended up finding an R700 in the same yard that was well-known in the '70s so he grabbed that instead. Andy
  5. You do some fine work, Josh. Wish some of my trucks looked that good to start off with. Sent you a message about your Es.
  6. Hi Tymack, that's a really nice EE. It never ceases to amaze me how good original-looking trucks like that continue to survive. Is she an older restoration or was she retired and well stored? Would you like to list her on the E-model registry? http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/1675-calling-all-mack-e-model-owners/
  7. Great photo but I've had to go to my happy place to get over it!
  8. Thanks other dog, I hadn't heard ot the Keystone mob nor had I seen their EGU/EHU/EwhateverU. What a collection! Have dropped them a line to see if they'd like to add her to the E-model registry.
  9. Awesome. Feel free to email me, Bob - aircrewbooksATiinet.net.au
  10. Thanks, Speed, she is a cutie, isn't she?! Still chuckling about being "formerly cool" according to Olivetroad. That means, at some stage, I was cool! LOL. 48Model45, sounds like a fine Type 45 you've got there. Quite a low number so might hold a record of some sort on the registry. I'll let you know. Pauls Macks and BOB DINGSDALE, you guys have me excited. Bob, I'll get your trucks listed tonight hopefully. Looking forward to hearing from you, Paul. I'm going to try to send out a group email to everyone who has registered so far just to touch base.
  11. Sounds like you were supervisor on the change, Mike, and the kids did all the work. Well-trained.
  12. A fine truck and great to see her saved. Careful 1310, you'll get bitten and she'll push the other projects out of the way! LOL, actually, don't be careful! Good luck with her.
  13. Hi guys Thanks Speed and Olivetroad, both girls doing very well. Have attached a photo. On the Mack front have discovered four E-models not two hours from where we live. To say I was speechless is an understatement. I remember drooling and babbling excitedly while I hunted tags and chassis numbers ... and didn't write anything down!
  14. Found an NR yesterday. Very tempted!

Yes, pictures, what the year, condition?

  15. Great story, Mike, and a top truck for your collection. So much more special when a local truck continues to live local.
  16. Hi Bob, you can count the number of Ls that came to Australia on one hand. I can think of two or three off the top of my head and an LTL was imported a couple of years ago.
  17. Thanks, guys, I'll get these added shortly. We had our first child in March so the registry, as usual for the past few years, has taken a back seat.
  18. Great find! Silly question. Would the huge stack indicate she once pulled vans?
  19. Working this weekend so hoping there's a few updates to keep me going.
  20. Looks like she's good at rusting too. Still, really like the look of her so hope she finds a good home.
  21. LOL, wish I had enough to forget about some as well! Unreal, sounds like Mack heaven there.
  22. That is a bit odd, Mike, but I think you're right. I'll be sure to include your notes in the registry. Did you just miss the truck before she was scrapped or was she long gone? Good to have another EHU for the registry anyway. 39 Baby Mack, wow! Beautiful truck, mate. Just looks so right. We'd call that a "ute" down here. My wife's favourite size of truck so I'll have to show her the photo. Thanks to all the recent posters, I'll get your trucks on the registry in the next day or so and let you know where you sit based on my observations of the registry.
  23. Hope your grandparents are on the road to recovery, Tom.
