  1. I started a Mack Cabover Yahoo group in April of 2003 and those pictures have been there for almost that long. I think a few others have discussed those trucks, but it has been a while. A friend of mine knows the owner, but those trucks were swiss cheese back when I took those pictures - and I know F models just don't up & stop rotting away on their own.
  2. They are just east of Huntingdon, PA. If you are in that area, you should visit The Swigart Museum The trucks are right along RT22 - about 1/8 to 1/4 mile west of the museum. Red circled area is where the trucks are located. Yellow circled area is the property HQ.
  3. I have been there with camera, but it was at least 10 or 11 years ago. A bunch of rotted F models and a KW or two - most of them with PRISM trucking on the doors. I thought they were scrapped, but heard not long ago that they're still there. (no guarantee)
  4. Cumulative total of 21 years - with a short break in between & old enough to know it's cheaper and safer to stay at the house. I'm currently in the midst of a nine week winter lay-off and this is my entertainment. Yeah...... so I lead a boring life ~ humor me!
  5. A few more recent discoveries from the "other side" of the USA: Sweet L cab B-73 dump 1924 AB 1957 B-?? - not what they say it is 1973 R-600 ~ looks solid 1969 R-700 1925 AB very clean '81 R model

  14. 'The General' did get a hook - and did pretty well. I didn't get a picture of it in action, but I got this one as it was waiting: This one cracks me up: Talk about 'being stacked'! These pictures are from a local antique machinery show in Sept. of 2008.
  15. How about one with six engines????? (six 5hp Briggs & Stratton engines, that is) The owner said that the original engine was beyond repair and no replacement could be found. This was his solution. How about this thing?:

  18. A 6-71 is an inline 6 cylinder ~ I know them as a "238". Had one in an old FWD water truck at the quarry where I used to work. I swear it would turn at least 4000 rpm.
  19. I thought Festivus was the guy on Gunsmoke?
  20. I'm pretty sure a mud flap is what female mud wrestlers use to keep the mud out of their _______. (can I say that here? ) If they were invented sooner, cavemen could have drug their women by the hair OR the feet.
  21. If you really need more information, it's listed on Baltimore, MD Craigslist.
  22. From Craigslist: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thought you'd be looking at 'carpet', didn't you?
  23. Good Sunday morning entertainment!
  24. It's in central PA, but I'm not sure if the owner wants to go public with it's availability. If I find that he does, I will post it here on the forum.
