  1. I wasn’t aware of any of that. Probably for good reason, I live in Pennsylvania 😄
  2. Keeping Jamie Davis busy
  3. How do you feel like this one stacked up to V-MACs?
  4. I came across these videos and thought some people could get good use/information out of them. I know most of you guys already know all of this stuff. I had posted this before but somehow got deleted by accident….
  5. There’s some tests for the other codes. Let me know if you want them later and if you need me to send a better picture. This is pry good one to start with. Clearly start with the stuff Joey was talking about first.
  6. The least I can do….😉
  7. I’m gonna let Joey take care of you on this. I’ll look for some tests tomorrow
  8. The “eecu” is on the engine and the “vecu” is in the cab
  9. One in the cab is what you want
  10. I think you can do it, there’s only one way to learn and it doesn’t hurt to try! If you decide to tackle it there are some really good guys on here to help you. I can also look in the book tomorrow for tests and post pictures of it for you.
  11. Interesting, thanks Joey. Possible VECU? Clearly do a bunch of tests before jumping to that. I’d say make sure the connector is all the way in and also the pins look good. Then check voltages at the pins and after the sensor.
  12. I believe J1 and J2 are the connectors to the EECU. EJ1 connector at the front end of the EECU. The “E” is pry for engine
  13. Nice! Pry be one of those things that it will never do it again and you will never know why…
  14. Fire right up today?
  15. Oh I’m sure some of those customers are a joy to deal with…cool truck, just don’t see much of that anymore. Only going to get worst. They are hard to find as it is, what makes it worst is that people of my generation just don’t care about that kind of stuff anymore. They just see it as “junk” and “gross polluters” but really they are the gross polluters with the way they want this country to go….😒 I’ll leave it at that haha.
  16. You can remove that drain back valve and see if it’s moving freely. It’s a 70psi spring. That’s what Mack says in the book anyway.
  17. Damn…atleast it’s running I guess. Somehow all those codes must be tied into eachother. Low voltage at the sensors. Let us know what you find out.
  18. What would that truck be used for? Never seen anything like that.
  19. Only downside is needing to have a computer that has windows 10. So if you don’t throw in the cost of a new computer too…
  20. We have tech tool and absolutely love it. A lot of stuff it will walk you step by step through repairs and has pictures. It really is amazing all that can be done on it/accessed. It does take sometime learning how to use it though. If you have a local Mack dealer they should have someone that can come out and show you it and how to use it before you buy it. If you decide to they will come back and set you all up with it. Our dealer did anyway. Then again we are lucky to have Bergeys Truck Centers and 6 of them within 30-50 minutes from us.
  21. That’s great! Maybe check pressure with it running and see what you have? Maybe fuel drained back somewhere like at that valve in the block over the week that it sat and got air in there somehow?
  22. Yup, we had a 98 with 45,000 miles that we gave away for 40k….
  23. Pry a double frame too!
  24. Yes you def seem to be very close to figuring this out. Being from PA I know what your dealing with in terms of every little thing being a JOB. There should be a North East flat rate time book….
