    The casting that positions the spring clips and center bolt is always wet and full of rust/scale.Were there originally rubber plugs or grommets to keep this bowl dry?

    I hope the mixer cab with no glass is kept covered,otherwise it`s being left to rot,not saved.

    So there`s no point in ever using 5`th low or direct,right?5`th low is lower than 4`th Hi and 5`th direct is virtually the same as 4`th Hi.

    When shifting from 3`rd to fourth gear,my tranny will not go into 4`th gear until the revs drop below 1000 rpms.I`m never pulling anything but if I was, wouldn`t that be lugging,and not good for the engine?This is a double overdrive transmission w/ a 5.78 rear ratio.

    I saw KRACKERJACK on Friday.Matt,you should assemble a photo album so people can see the insane amount of work and talent that went into that restoration.

    Actually,given the size of the show at Macungie,there`s not that much in the way of vendors selling parts,IMO.
