  1. Thats good advice but we replaced the suspension 30,000 miles ago. Im looking for information on what pattern to follow and how often to rotate.
  2. I have a 2000 Mack RD dump truck thats a tandem. I run Hercules tires somewhat like all terrain tires. . Im definitely new at this and didn’t do a good job of rotating my tires. So Im probably looking at all new tires on the back in a couple months. I run about 65% pavement ,35% gravel. What pattern do you use? Do I need to rotate tires from one side of truck to the other. Any recommendations will be appreciated.
  3. Ok thanks guys. I will check on the ground. So could I not put a negative jumper from battery to light . I thought I tried that but maybe not. I do know I used positive side of battery to check that ground on test light.
  4. Ok put a flasher that is compatible in truck with led’s got blinkers working on bright but when I turn the running lights on the turns dont work. This is probably where the relay comes in. Will need JoJo to explain that.
  5. So do i need a flasher compatible with led’s or a relay or both
  6. Ok thanks Geoff, I will give it a try. Also I do have led’s on the rear.
  7. Something isn’t working correctly. I have checked my ground, turn signal wire and running light wire. I have switched wires off light from turn to running lights and still no change. What am I missing here. On package it says black wire is running, red is turn and white is ground. This is the way I have it wired up. Either way I flip the wire exclude ground its still the same. Turn signal is week and running lights are bright. When running lights on the turns want work. here is a photo of my flasher
  8. I purchased some led sq pedestal lights to replace the original turn signal lights that came on the 2000 RD. The lights I took off had red, black and white wires. The led lights had same colors and that is how I wired them up. The turn signal is real dim and doesn’t work when running lights are on. The running lights are very bright. Never seen this wiring sequence before. Can someone explain how to wire these up?
  9. Sorry guys, i have been working on another project. The truck is a 2000 RD. Yes it has two post on dash but I was told I had to use a lot more current than they could apply. I currently have a cb hooked up to those post. This new general lee needs more power than those post provide to get its maximum effects.
  10. I got a general lee that is 40 watt. I know I need to run wire from battery but no clue what size. Also what size fuse would be good. If i need to give more information just let me know. Thanks Ricky
  11. I found it. Going get it ordered and put it on. Thanks buddy you help me a lot and I guarantee you its appreciated.
  12. Yeah Im still around JoJo. Seems like my life is speeding up and it should be slowing down. Im keeping the old girl up with maintenance and there is always something to do. So I will look for this switch. You think it will be directly above the pedals?
  13. My air brake light on the dash is not going out when my truck air gauge goes past 60-70 psi. It goes really dim around that area but then brightens up and stays on. Can someone point me in the direction I need to go to try and fix this? Tha ks Ricky
  14. Ok JoJo the wires and connector looks good. Pins are find. You think i should replace it?
