  1. I'll keep that in mind. What could go wrong? A .D.O.D. reman Dorsey 25 ton trailer,a 15 1/2 ton dump truck,4 spare tire and wheel assemblies and a palleted oscillating heavy duty 5th wheel and my wife along as my restrainer against more goodies. The yard is full of neat stuff, I would have no trouble taking all of it home!
  2. Looks like the bushing outer sleeve is still in the bracket. The I.D. is what makes it hard to transfer to a suspension piece, but poly body mount bushings would work as a start to have machined to you I.D and O.D. to reuse your steel sleeve. Poly or Nylatron can be machined easily on a lathe Try a 4x4 shop near you for Dodge Ram Body mount bushings in Poly or Nylatron.
  3. Bids are low for what they are. VanDerBrink Auctions & JF Marketing will offer the Hackenberger Collection Auction. Over 700 Collector Cars, Trucks, Tractors, Buggies, & More! Norwalk, OH July 15th & 16th, 2017 9AM. 4. 15 to 66 to 495 to 95 to exit 27. about 5 to 6 with my Marmon bobtailing..If the construction in Delaware near Christiana isn't to backed up. I'm going to try and be there by 7a.m.Hope to be head south after 9 p.m. That depends if I have any issues with the reconditioned 1982 M172A1 trailer we bought and if I approve of how it's loaded.
  5. Layman's video guide to understanding President Trump and the Media...mainly the poor sad lady and the Moppet Beaker wannabe on the Morning Joe.. The scene opens in the White House Press Room briefing. . .
  6. I'll be back on the 25th to do the final paper work and pick it up.
  7. The first Dodge has an up dated drive train and a Cummins/Allison slid in for power. The Blue Dodge is a 361 V8. The bus is shop build for a person in the North Western U.S. They had a few Fontaine trailers I looked at but way to heavy for my use.
  8. Went to the 154 Anniversary of the Battle, pretty interesting bit of history. Grand kids loved it, especially the Lincoln and Lee impersonators and the re enactments. Left there to go to Eastern Surplus and Equipment in Philly to look at a pair of M917 AM General Dumps and bought one Oshkosh M917A1 and looked at 4 other trucks that kept telling me to buy them. The Mrs put the brakes on that. . . for now. I need the pair of Dodges and the M211 GMC digger.... for some reason I'll think up in the next few weeks at least.. My purchase for clearing 300 acres in Va.
  9. Probably 301 Stainless, good weldability. Better wear resistance and fatigue strength than 304 in exhaust products.
  10. I agree, We bought last year a new left over Ram 5500 Quad cab dualie. Cummins power w/6 speed manual, 4 x 4. I removed the dump body and added a full size pick up bed on it. Re tired it with 12.5 x 36 x 19 singles for towing my race trailer and goodies, hauling our hounds and general things. Decent ride an better on fuel the the D- 150 that now is sitting in the corner.
  11. Very rare and I think a neat truck. This long wheel base truck is certainly an uncommon sight. With production beginning in January of 1931, and ending in February of 1932, the Ford AA Express truck with the 197-A body is a rare and strange looking truck for sure. With a 157” wheel base, this truck was not made for tight city streets http://www.ebay.com/itm/132233691724?rmvSB=true http://aafords.com/open-bodies/express-bodies/197-express/
  12. The trans is a Detroit Diesel Allison Auto model CLBT754 installed with the Cummins in it's 2005 DOD rebuild. The papers say it's an m911 power pack. Mae any sense?? Paul
  13. Any one ever look at or try the older Autocar /Diamond T Ross TAS65 box with a push / pull slave cylinder on the drag link?
  14. Took the words right out of my mouth on the AR plate. I got a few small pieces from the local Cat shop from their old scrapper plate pile. Paul
  15. Can you post a photo and mabe some dimensions? Might be able to match up the equivalent through Energy Suspension in poly urethane and metal. Paul
  16. Any phots when you travel are welcome, after all it's all an entirely different world for us here. Paul
  17. Now ,Now, She posted links and sources on these issues to back up all of her statements in the posts above about Slavery, Global Warming, our inability to buy new equipment and rowdies carbon bias., I will say she never ever cites a fact or makes an accusation with out concrete posted proof. I'll be at Gettysburg for the Anniversary with my wife and grand children to show bigotry in action.
  18. I have an Aurora, Potemkin, Tsesarevich, and Saint Panteleymon by a Russian Company called ARK in 1/400. I'll never find time ti build them unless I live to the ripe age of 120
  19. She seems to fit the SPLC criteria. for hate. The SPLC defines hate groups as those that "... have beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people " Like us ignorant non union losers here?
  20. She does have a very impressive grasp on all thing military and all thing historic a shame she fails to realize many in the south were merely defending their family and property from the Union soldiers.. or didn't the Union commit any atrocities against the southerners? So the people whom resist the Federal Government were/are traitors, Than so are the Democrats and states whom sabotage and resist the current Federal government. seems by her definition she is a traitor too.
  21. I talked to him once about selling my AC-6, I was told that his commission is 10 to 15% on top of the sale price. Paul
  22. Carlo's had 98 confirmed kills but said he has another 200+ when his spotter didn't follow him. He would go in the field for weeks on end. He lost 30 pounds on one foray. His most regrettable was a VC ammo runner about 14 or 15 on a bicycle. Carlo's shot the bike out from under the kid and thought the kid would run away. Unfortunately the kid picked up his AK and loaded a magazine and fired on Carlos. It was ended immediately following that. We learned the same lesson my dad learned in Bavaria, when his unit ran into a Hitler Youth Werewolf unit of mostly 13 to 16 year old boys. Lesson being a kid can kill you just as easy as an adult.
  23. Like the Statue of Sam Huston and rename the city of Huston because Sam Huston owned... (gasp) ... slaves.. But if she read what the event is at Gettysburg on July 1 to 3 , it is a National Park Service weekend of history (both sides) of the Battle of Gettysburg. The NPS has nothing to do with being "neo Confederates", just showing the sights and history of the events 154 years ago. I know she won't believe it from reading her opinion of us in Caspers Transmission thread pretty much sums it up. . TeamsterGrrrl you guys can't get a loan on a new truck and wouldn't last through breakfast working at McDonalds or WalMart, never mind have enough discipline to make it through probation at UPS. You slept through math class so you can't work out your CPM and figure out how much money you're losing, so you can't afford to get your truck fixed properly so you bodge repairs yourselves. And instead of admitting your own failures and upping your skills for the 21st century, you blame the EPA, blacks, DOT, immigrants, Volvo, Moslems, "liberals", Hillary, Obama, and a couple more I probably forgot for your problems
  24. I model many of the Pre WWII British, Chinese,American, Russian and Japanese ships. A few are in the USS Intrepid Air and Space Museum in NYC. I should have seen the 4 stacks as Potemkin had only 3 stacks. Paul
