  1. B81 with either a 673 or one of the N series Cummins. Odd, with the oil bath air filter and with the non existent piping, it could almost be a B80 converted from 707 gas to a diesel

  3. I'd put a triangle shaped gusset on the back outside bend by the steering box. there is too big a potential for too much flex there! Paul
  4. I've only seen a few with the bench seat and a lunch box size console for the shifter like the 61 to 65 Biscayne's had. Kind of rare. Run with most anything on the roads in the mid 70's and cheap on insurance. My 63 I built into a low rider(pre popular) before I sold it in 1978. Two things with buying these cars. 1- during the gas shortage in the early 70's, I was buying most of these for pennies on the dollar. 2- my wife and i were pulling in a few thousand a week running our Mariino's Ices Funnycar and a pair of 71 Challengers in pro stock and super stock. So we had money to piss away so to speak. The Challengers, Monte, El Camino and the 71 Duster we only auctioned off in last two years. The Challengers both had about 17 or 1800 miles on them from only racing. The funnycar (less the engine) we gave to Garlits for what ever he wants to do with.
  5. First one I recall seeing with that air can and no piping going into the panel in front of it. Makes it look plain odd to my eyes. Paul
  6. $3500 to $4200 for a good used one, more depending if you're looking for a correct date coded case for a resto. Hell a good case alone averages $900. Had a 64 Nova SS with factory AC and a dealer installed 283.I bought in California in 1971 to drive home to NY when I was discharged. Also had a 63 Impala SS 327 factory 4 speed, a 65 Impala SS 396 Factory 4 speed, a 66 Caprice with a 396 automatic, a 70 Monte Carlo 454 factory 4 speed and a 74 El Camino 454 factory 4 speed. I sold the Monte and the Camino two years ago in Atlantic City. Do have a 3/4 completed 65 Nova with a worked 500 Caddy and a 700R in it, but that's my wife's so she can hunt 5.0 Mustangs .

  8. Called Kieth Black and confirmed it through Aires on their dragster engines running double my boost and they use special racing Champion plugs. They're sending me plugs that they say will take the boost, methanol and nitrous with no problems. The suggestion from Ohio George was the same as Champion. Accel was no ideas what to do "we don't make anything like you need" and Bosch was response. h67st It is a Ford 2.7 liter turbo, , Scat crank, Aires pistons, Keith Black rods, full girdle on block and head. Ford Racing cross flow head with 8 injectors and 8 plugs modified by Air Flow Research. Methanol fueled running,4 stage nitrous with 40 + of boost. Approx 650 + r. w.h.p.
  9. These 2 are the most recognizable out of 25 out of 32 different plugs I've tried to run.. 7 Autolites, 5 Accels, 5 Bosch and 8 Champions.Waiting for radial engine aircraft type plugs now. .Better plugs than pistons, head bolts or worse I guess. Only 40 lbs of boost too.
  10. That's the second one I saw. The other was in a salvage yard in Georgia or the Carolina's. Sharp!! Paul
  11. Want to come to Virginia and do my B-61?
  12. A few know the first B design to work in the classic AC nose but the 1949 Model 8 design model was pretty much the finalized design.
  13. Lanova in the chassis, and a gasser in the dump. If the Lanova is all intact there a lot of goodies on it worth while.
  14. Tell you one thing NOT to do. Rent a chipper, have your wife argue with you at the rental shop, when you return it the next day ask the rental clerk to call you if he finds your wifes wedding ring. Had Suffolk Sheriffs show up and ask to speak to my wife.
  15. I'll have to look in the big collection of photos I bough a few years ago, might have just those carriers in there. Paul
  16. That was in an ad listed before a Marmon in Richmond Va. Just happened to eyeball it before I read the chopped top post. If that CF truck was a Marmon 110 inch COE it would be on it's way to my yard. Paul
  17. Here is what an ex Renault tech told me (the Freedom is Renault Midlum) The normal immobilizer problem fix is, the reverse lights run off the same fuse as the immobilizer, check the fuse for the reverse lights.
  18. Never push a stone other than factory test runs other wise set under shed roof
  19. True North Truck Sales in Canada sells them as 2017 Gliders
  20. You haven't seen my AC-6, makes the LJ look mint. Can it be gotten to to load? PM me his number if you want. I got room in Virginia for it. Paul
